You’re so emotional  any critique of Bam its not enough for you to reply once you continue making other posts, its comical. And dont mistake me having fun with something Dion said about himself with being a stan, Im not you lmao

Let’s see if he will share his basketball career stats and accolades or if he’s just a phony fan boy who looks at numbers feelers than others and paints the picture he wants to see

You’re too worried about me lol, just get some actual fuxkin knowledge of the game or shut up lol. My opinions are backed by the things Riley and Spo do and the things execs, players, etc. around the league say. Yours are backed, every now and then, by little Tommy and Timmy in the forum

Time and time again this season I’ve just had “I told you so” moment after “I told you so” moment but I’ve mainly kept quiet on them for the most part.

Listen to my takes, read what I say, and you’ll get a little smarter.

All right then Greg. No rim protection. No paint presence.

What's the cure?

Lol is that what I said?

Firstly, shotmaking is a cure. Both Boston and Miami are defined by their ability to wreak havoc in transition of off misses and defensive stops. And both are teams that struggle when everything is slowed to half court offensive execution (which typically happens when the other team makes shots).

The right type of additional rim protection would be a big boost, but the options for that are way more limited than the “let’s get a real center” crowd realizes.

This team didn’t fall short because of defense. That doesn’t mean improving the defense shouldn’t be something to pursue. But offensive enhancement has to be priority 1, 2, and 3.

I mean, I said we need rim protection and you translated that into meaning a true center. So, I guess we can break out the basketball dictionary and argue over what defines what, but yes, centers are traditionally better at rim protection. So, yes, I want a center who can protect the rim better than the absence of that that we have now. I also believe that having a defensive anchor for the low post will make our defenders better and work less.

I also stated we needed an offensive anchor who can get buckets. At no point did I say we needed one versus the other. I legit said we need both.

I guess I'm confused as to why you're debating either point. We obviously need rim protection and a bonafide bucket getter.

No you specifically referenced the 1st quarter sequence where we missed shots and Boston got early shot clock looks off of transition opportunities as the characterization for the teams rim protection issues

How about we don’t be condescending to other posters and stop baiting/attacking.

I get it, we’re all pissed we didn’t make the Finals, but I’m gonna start handing out holidays from the board soon. Tired of reading the same inane crap in every thread. Like going around in circles.

At this point in time I want Adebayo traded and Bammy to go with him to another forum.

Looking forward to you thinking you know more than Riley and Spo and hating every single move the Heat make all summer lol. Possibly the most negative person I’ve ever witnessed.

IMO offseason moves should all be encouraging talk. We’re seeking to improve from a team that was very reasonably a few made open looks/free throws away from making it to the finals and beating a really great opponent.

If we can supplement/enhance/tweak the team in a handful of ways we’re on our way to competing with anyone again next season.

We just can’t have an offseason like after the bubble run

I like Bam and all but he is massively overrated by our fanbase.

Great defender, great attitude, and plays well within our system, but he is deeply flawed offensively. We sound crazy with the “he just needs to add a jumper this offseason” routine every year. It’s not happening.

He shrunk from the beginning of the postseason, just like the rest of the roster not named Jimmy. Regular season stats are a mirage. Not worth a max in my opinion and should be very much on the table this offseason for the right deal.

Keep not addressing the pertinent questions because you have nothing to back up your crap.

It's easier when we suck because then we're mostly all mad about the same stuff. And we can accept complaints we don't agree with because it adds to the narrative that big changes are needed. Close but no cigar is much harder because opinions vary from blow the whole thing up to run it back with a minor tweak or just needing young guys to develop.

But that's why mods get paid the big bucks.

If all else fails just have UD come around and threaten to whup everyone's ass.

He can score in isolation and there’s evidence of it in the playoffs.

Woah woah woah, be careful giving that one a reasonable basketball take that doesn’t involve trading everyone and firing everyone!

FYI, Bam won't be completely immune from trade talk.

I suspect Riley will be having internal workshops on how to get Emiid on this roster.

Granted, the idea is a long shot, though.

I think the biggest problem is that Butler is no Wade. Im not talking about on the court but off the court. Wade knew how to make friends, how to get into peoples ears etc. Butler is clearly not that guy, hes not a recruiter. If you dont have someone like that, you can show up wearing all the rings you want and get rejected.

Durant said nah to us twice and went with Golden State, then he went to the Nets. Giannis was like nah man and won a ring last year after sweeping us. We need a Wade level recruiter.

I'm not really with this narrative.

Wade is probably over credited with the acqusitions of Lebron and Bosh.

Those guys wanted out of their situations first and foremost and found Mia to be an attractive place to go.

Regarding Giannis, he clearly wasnt ready to leave Mil and I suspect no amount of persuasive power would have changed his mind at that particular point in time.

Same situation is happening with Beal.

Furthermore, Lowry is here because of Jimmy. Despite his subpar playoff performance, he was a coveted acquiation.

Return to Miami Heat
