it's not even a sure thing that you would win if you have LeBron James on your team espeically since we got him in his prime and lost 2 finals. Not worth to disband the group for a 1 year window.

Irving and Harris for Lowry, Herro, Robinson and a FRP? Probably should be in that other fake trade thread lol

Would you be willing to move Bam, Herro, Robinson and Lowry for Kyrie and LeBron James?

The move would also allow them to resign Dipo with his bird rights

Just wonder the thoughts on a true F@&@ them kids move by the front office to go all in on a title

Herro and Lowry to the Nets

Bam and Robinson to the Lakers

A 38 year old Bron for our core? Hard pass.

I'd be willing to do it for KD though.

Works for me too, trade works as well. Would be an interesting situation for the Nets I would find it hard for them to pass that up that haul especially if picks are included

With a three of Butler, Kyrie, Bam, the team is more attractive to mid-tier free agents. Even for our own guys like Dipo and Tucker.

absolutely not. NO to lebron james, ever. I dont want this dude in a heat uniform as long as he in an active player in the nba, when he retires he can buy our jerseys and wear them if he likes. Lebron and his stans dont even appreciate the heat in making him a champion, its disgusting. Thanks but no thanks. The negativity and drama this guy brings make kyrie irving look like a saint.

Gimme Beal/Irving/Lavine/mitchell.....instead.

I think if you give LeBron the likes of Butler, Kyrie, Dipo, and Tucker that’s a title team. Pair them with young guys like Martin, Strus, Yurt, Gabe, and the Serbian that’s pretty potent. Works the same for KD as well, but there does exist an opportunity for some Star to win a ring in Miami right now should they want it.

Miami needs to cash in on Bam now, along with Herro. We can talk about defense and this and that but neither will be a top 20 player in this league. We consistently develop young talent, I am not sure why we don’t just continue on with that once these guys make it to their first contact. Miami with as good as a job as they do finding guys and developing them, should only be giving real money to proven stars/role players.

Yeah, the Heat could try to play hardball with the Nets and keep Herro out of the deal. The thing is, it makes sense to move Herro. Get out of the problem of his extension plus it opens the door for a Oladipo return.

Unless they then turn around and package Herro + Duncan for a big time player.

I'm ok with Bam in a Draymond Green type role complementing a Butler-Irving scoring combo.

not too mention im not buying herro as really turning out much more than a average player at this point. he a good rookie season and ever since than the guy has flat out sucked. so if u can move him for a superstar talent like kyrie, id take it.

I wouldn’t say he sucks, he’s actually a pretty good player. I wouldn’t say he’s worth a max though and that’s what he’s going to command, his value right now will never again be higher, the time to move him is now.

I listened to it live on Spotify. Stein said that Brooklyn prefers a deal with Miami, but Riley first wants to get the Millsap deal wrapped up.

If true, I would do it without hesitation. That is a steal.

Resign Vic for the 2. Try to get John Wall after the buyout. We would have a formidable squad.

Wait isn't Millsap a vet min deal? If that's what's holding everything up, something doesn't make much sense.

What are you even talking about? All they did last offseason was add two starters and go from a first round sweep to within a game of the finals. Thats with their second leading scorer giving them nothing in the ECF because of being banged up. I get it is championship or bust but woo buddy have some perspective.

If you go back to the offseason after '19 they got Jimmy and drafted Tyler. So thats two offseasons in the last 3 where they acquired 4 core players of a Finals run and a ECF run. Get a grip with the trend stuff.

Ungrateful & spoilt fans. This thing is a process. We're getting closer. Not all titles can be bought like it was the Big-3 era. Sometimes you gotta build it the right way, go through adversities, keep working hard - it makes reaching the summit so much more satisfying knowing you earned every bit of it.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Very good observation, astute reader. Stein must’ve said that Riley is wrapped up with thoughts of Millsap, not that he wants to get Millsap wrapped up first.

Kyrie's opt out deadline is Wednesday so it appears the Nets have to make a decision soon.

If Miami is looking for a third team like one dude said is lowry and herro going to the original destination and Duncan is being sent to another team? That’s all I can think of tbh
