I won’t even give him that tbh. He was trash well before they spent that summer trying to give him skills to expand his game. In fact him being such a disappointment that season was WHY they worked on other things with him if I recall correctly.

They shouldn't have then. He was a 26 year old one NBA skill player with very little skill outside shooting 3s, it was a huge mistake to go away from that one skill.

It was a huge mistake to pay him. Garbage player with an even more garbage mindset

Who cares. Better then playings shrimps. He’ll figure it out

But you upset the rest of the players who ARE playing defense correctly and can cause some strife within the team.

Considering everything else he brings i’m hoping they would be patient with him and teach. The other option is the brutal small ball

You don't need to play Jovic the minutes he is getting tonight, you give him spot minutes. This is the best way to get a young player to learn their teams schemes, you need repetition.

Exactly. It's hard to convince everyone else of the importance of playing defense if you're giving minutes to a guy who doesn't even know what he's supposed to do.

Absolutely, especially with Strus already on the roster and looking like a decent replacement while not having to pay a bunch of money (to retain Robinson).

Just like 6’1 rotating on 6’8 makes sense right? Are the players complaining about that?

In my opinion that was worth a challenge. Van fleet did the Lowry booty move.

2 points are whatever but that could have been vanfleets fourth. That is extremely important.

Take the great defensive plays from Strus in the playoffs. and his offensive expanding this year and Strus is showing growth on both sides of the ball. Like the last 20 games he is a different player.

Would it be a trap to give him real money?

Don’t let us get one. — Nikola Jovic

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

I know fans hate that, but it has a history of working.

You have ppl who think some guys should play 24 full minutes without break and if they’re taken out the coach is **** up lol.
Some ppl have just never played sports or been close to them so have no idea.

If there’s one thing we can consistently rely on it’s losing the Dedmon minutes.

This teams goal is just to build leads before he inevitably has to check in to give Bam a rest lol

Need to trade Duncan first and foremost. Need the money off the books to have a chance.

As for what he is worth- I’ve been saying 4/50. He may be playing himself into a bit more. He is definitely worth a long term investment.

I don't know the answer to that question, although Duncan got paid with nothing but his 3pt at least struss can do other things. We really need to find a way to get rid of Duncan's contract in a trade its gonna cost us assets but it will be worth it, we need a rebuilding team looking for picks, and we send him off for an expiring deal.

It's the scheme, they fight for position, sometimes the other team gets easy baskets, sometimes they turn it over or miss the shot with a 2nd defender helping. There's pluses and minuses for each scheme. Yes I'd like some size on the court but I'm more worried about players being in the right spots, it's quite possible Jovic could be in the rotation by the end of the year. I'm sure the coaching staff is watching Jovic to see how serious he is to fix his issues.

There are reasons why young talented teams don't win all that often.
