Miami Heat Offseason Thread 5.0: Snooze Season

It's not a good proposal and Phoenix picks would probably be worse than Miami's (since scoring wins more in the regular season). The only longterm player Portland would get would be Claxton. I'm not quite sure that team in Brooklyn would be any better than Portland with J.Grant resigned. Why would he leave for that, in a couple of years it's probably not even close (with Portland's young players developing).

It sounds like Harden has a destination already in mind and the 76ers will facilitate it to get compensation back. Harden more than like will do a 2 year extension with the next team he's traded to. So basically instead of going on the open market, he's taking his current contract next year and probably having it extended for nearly the same amount for 2 more years.
