When things slow down and the jump shot isn't falling, you depend on your PG to create opportunities with their ability to break down the D and get into the paint. We consistently lull offensively because we don't have that, especially without Jimmy and when Tyler sits.

PG hasn't been a problem this game, they have gotten into their sets with plenty open shots, their not falling, and their not defending. Your defense has to carry you in your moments when your not hitting, to keep you afloat, there's been zero this game by Miami outside of Highsmith and Bam.

We have not scored at all in the 4th and everything has been a rushed jumpshot with zero paint pressure.

FTs man
If they make half of the FTs missed this would be a 6 point deficit.

The fact that even Tyler is missing them this year is so weird.

I get it their double teaming our guys and were making the right play their just not falling, If you had a speedy guard that can penetrate your gonna still let the team score on the other end, unless that guard is and all NBA defender, its give and take. Got to just keep taking it in and forcing the issues, the foul calls will come and eventually youll start hitting open jumpers...However we need to defend.

It’s clear as day. Lowry has been keeping us honest but the problem has been extreme lack of depth. If you trade Duncan and a pick for Jones we’ll have a solid tandem of Lowry and Jones.

Sorely missing Martin and Butler. They would make a world of difference

Its a game of rhythm and feel as much as anything else. When you're missing everything and not getting any good looks on one end, it can fuel the other teams offense. Its also very different playing defense after a miss vs playing defense after inbounding when the defense has time to set up. Defense is definitely a factor, but our offense has been really inconsistent and is the bigger cause.
