Safe assumption that Bam signs the max extension this summer, but will be interesting to see when it occurs. Outside chance he waits until next summer and gambles on being All-NBA this upcoming season.

I’m also curious to see if he’ll hold out until next year in the event that he has a competent running mate for the first time since old Wade and Dragic with a Mitchell or Trae where we’ll also have high seeding

But seriously, if Bam wants that supermax he gotta go back in the gym and practice his free throws, then become a 37-38% 3pt shooter, his production should increase to 25 ppg and may be enough to garner votes for All-NBA next year.

He can decline the extension for now and look for next season if he wants to bet on himself, and I think he can reach the 25ppg 10rbs level, no doubt.
