Big fan of Carter Bryant's upside

Getting more minutes as season progresses. Up to 38% from 3 on 2.5 attempts per game in only 17 mpg (good rate of attempts). Great size and athleticism for a wing prospect with huge defensive upside. The rate at which he blocks shots and gets steals is very rare. Esp for a Freshman that is hitting 38% from 3.

Looking like a younger Ryan Dunn with better shooting and more offensive upside.

Would not shock me one bit to see us take this kid with one of our picks. Spo and Arison got a good look at him tonight and did not disappoint

The Duncan replacement and then some.

I like what I've seen of Knueppel. I've preferred him over the similar archetype prospect in Liam McNeely. Probably one of the safer projected first round picks in terms of providing some value at the next level through his rookie contract. He'll be a NBA rotation player. He's a floor play, but not a ceiling play IMO.

I think he's squarely a SG at the next level. I'd be shocked if he's actually the 6'7 he's listed at and don't expect him to have much of a plus wingspan. I def worry about his lateral movement as a defender if he's guarding guards or wings.

I hope we aim for more upside than a Max Strus/Corey Kispert type.

Becoming an early favorite for me. Most logical to be had in the late lotto and mid teens.

I'm definitely a fan, as well. Love his shooting from all 3 levels--esp his finishing package around the rim. I do wonder about his size. Is he legit 6'3 or closer to 6'1? Maybe he just has a short neck. His arms look long.

Would love to see more onball work for Jase. Currently tracking for 60% of his FG being assisted this season.

I currently see each of Fears, Wooley, and Jase as similar tier guard prospects. Need to learn more about each and see how the seasons play out.

Since Jase has played limited minutes, it's harder to get a full gauge for him. He's finally seemed to get a full time role now in February, playing 27 mpg thru 7 games. These are his numbers for this most recent stretch:

14 ppg (47% FG, 36% 3 pt, 90 % FT), 1 apg (0.3 topg), 3 rpg, 1.1 stockspg

He plays an efficient game and seems to be emerging as MSU's best player. He can shoot the ball, but I REALLY want to see more onball work for him, given his size seeming to limit him to PG/combo guard slot.

I think Jase could be a guy that really shows out in March and makes himself some money.

Do you follow Auburn basketball closely? Obviously Broome is the engine for that squad, but I'm intrigued by Tahaad Pettiford as a NBA PG prospect. Seems to be a real deal sniper that can score and run an offense.

Not sure if he warrants lotto consideration due to his size/finishing, but he looks like a future NBA player to me.

The more time that goes by, the less likely I think Jeremiah Fears is there for us. Unless we have a top 10 pick.

I guess they could, but I don't expect the Heat to do that unless someone REALLY blows them away. When is the last time they moved up? KZ Okpala? With how up and down this season has been, they may not even have to trade up to get a top 10 pick.

Currently tied for the 7th seed and our players are starting to gel. The percentages are so much higher right now that we make the playoffs than getting a lottery pick. GSW also 7-1 post trade and probably not looking back so expect a pick in the late teens to early 20’s.

Seems likely barring some injury. Miami also just ended the most grueling month of the season and is about to have 13 of the next 17 games at home (17 of the remaining 26 games at home).

Time to uncover a gem outside the top 15. Here are my current candidates:

Adrian Wooley
Jase Richardson
Sergio de Larrea
Carter Bryant
Nolan Traore
Tahaad Pettiford
Labaron Philon
Ian Jackson

We're heading into peak season where prospects emerge, falter, and make their names. Let's see what unfolds

Adrian Wooley with his 14th game of 20+ points this season yesterday. He's now scored 20+ points in 14 of the last 21 games he's played in. Ended the day with 22 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, shooting 53% from the field.

Loved this offhand drive & finish in the paint:

I present to you Bennett Stirtz--the D2 transfer to Drake that is dominating college basketball and is the real version of the draft prospect that many wanted Tyler Kolek to be last cycle.
