regarding that Amick report… is that guy stupid? he’s literally mentioning Wiggins, Podz, Kuminga, etc. that would be 5 guys including Schroeder to make salary work for 1 player bc Suns cant aggregate, leaving GSW with an absolutely gutted terrible roster and PHX having to find a way to shed 4 players lol.

makes zero sense

If you believe in Ware... I'm sure you could send Bam and some other contracts to get KD. They don't need another shooter, so Herro is likely out of the picture, they can't move Beal and don't want to move Booker.

Significantly better prospect than Kuminga. It ain't close!!!

Him, plus Ware and a 1st is better than whatever Dubs are selling right now to our front office.

Not only is Ware not getting moved for KD, the trade doesn't even work. Jimmy+Jovic+Ware is too much salary for Phoenix to take back since they cannot trade more than one player at a time.

Well the obvious way around that is for us to add another player in there then. Make it KD and someone for JJJ, Ware and Jimmy. Plus the pick/s.

Some minimum salary guy from us.

It is against the rules for you guys to add another player. You are a second apron team. You can only trade 1 player in a trade.

I think every player on the roster is up for grabs. We are not a good team, and there is always a price.

I can't decide who's making worse trades the Suns homer or Jimmy homer. You guys just need to stop.

I think some of the younger guys would be moved for other players and draft assets. So, they might get older players around that talent level and a pick they could move to Phoenix.

I think the Warriors are looking to get more draft assets to go along with Butler to pry KD away. They possibly could get some draft assets out of some of their younger players, then get the expiring's/decent players to send to Miami for Butler. Miami would probably end up with decent short term players and a couple of draft assets for Butler and contract savings, basically what they've been asking for.

Phoenix isn't trading Butler + an asset for KD, they're wanting as much as they can get for KD and GS is trying to give them that.

Where are all these great assets Golden State has to trade?

Every one of these trades getting brought up are not legal. As you can see Barry's wording in the last tweet. Only Butler and Jovic or J Rich, or Burks is legal due to the 3.2 million dollar trade exception they got in the Okogie deal.

Kuminga, Moody and Prodz, trade them for a player(probably older) and draft asset. I think you could possibly get 2 1sts out of that, at least 1 and some 2nds while getting players back too.

You think we're trading Ware+ for 36 old KD to appease Jimmy charmin soft self after everything come now. These trades those two have been throwing out are just ridiculous.

Moody's contract comes equipped with a Poison Pill. But yeah they do have multiple assets to trade regardless

If they were trading for KD to team up with Bulter, they BOTH would be signing an extension, so him saying 16 more months indicates he's not extending which also means KD isn't going to Miami.

No way....would I trade Jovic and Ware....and to be frank, limited upside in adding KD without Butler.

The team needs a 2022 on ball defender like Caleb, and a slasher that keeps a defense honest in the half court.

I hope the process of some of these trades get revealed in a story soon. It would be interesting to see how the big trades that happened or didn't happen evolved in the last 48 hours of the deadline.
