He was riding the hottest shooting stretch of his life to start the year but he is who he’s always been. A guy who can get hot and have big games (that have never really led to wins) who plays little to no defense most of the time. Nights like tonight when he can’t buy a bucket he’s a major detriment. We play zone to hide him and he can’t even properly play a zone defense which led to the Giddey 3.

8/19 is 'can't buy a bucket'? Versus someone that went 8/17? He also somehow out-rebounded your boy 8-6, had 6 assists, and 2 blocks. But go on about how he's the only problem lol.

Brother he’s paid to be an offense only player and yes Bam was 8/17 3 of them were fuxkin heaves with no shot of going in on grenades he was thrown. He got 14 shots in the flow off the offense, 4th most on the team.

Giddy being the best player on the court tonight was a surprise.

Not really. He’s been playing out of his mind lately.

This team is not a KD away. It needs a no 1 and no 2 option to really contend. Thats why I keep on saying we should leave the option of blowing it all up in the offseason. Between Bam, Herro, Wiggins you could get a ton of picks and you an engineer trades where you get your 1st rounders back. Seeing the way the Celts without Porzingis are beating the Lakers, its gonna take a lot of talent to beat them or the Cavs. And those teams are gonna be in their prime for the next 3-5 years.

Maybe full rebuild isn't the way to go but at the very least put on the table and discuss it. Beings stubborn about doing it one way is dumb. Especially when the rebuild route has worked out for other teams Boston, OKC, Cavs

Heat were up 11 points when Tyler sat to start the 4th. And that was WITH Rozier in the game. Y'all have found a convenient scapegoat in Rozier but whatever the problem is, its bigger than him.

Ware was the ONLY PLAYER with a + tonight.

Another 4th quarter meltdown.

Nobodys fault.

Continue as normal.

Sure, and Bam is paid to get more than 6 rebounds, no? And I'm not saying Herro had a great, or good game, by any means. Just that your constant scapegoating is tiresome.

This team has way too many holes that we may just need to keep drafting players and hope they hit. As someone just mentioned we have no business trading assets away for this team. It is not a KD away or even a Young.

Sure, wasn’t necessary considering Ware was alongside him helping out with the boards but if you want them fighting over rebounds then I guess they better start!

Spo is having quite the down year....granted his stubborness with the rotation has always been a sticking point with most of us here, but I've never seen him cut off his nose to spite his face by playing somebody that even every HEAT twitter bro can see is a net negative (Rozier).

Either this is a masterclass sneak tank job, or we're going to get a leak about him going through some stuff that has him in a mental tailspin. Just puzzling.

Heat should have targetted Wiggins more in the 4th.
He didnt miss a shot in the 4th.

Herro has to not take so many bad shots, he is talented but he has to play for the win

The lineup imo opinion is

Herro
Wiggins
Robinson
Adebayo
Ware

Mitchel & Rozier are not good enough to start

Why do you want Wiggins out?

I view the end of this season as the perfect time to spam as many scoring reps as possible for Herro and Bam to further their development in that area but for whatever reason when fully healthy Spo has Bam playing 3rd fiddle. I’ve really liked the recent usage and shot attempts for those 2 lately. Wiggins also has tunnel vision, at least he has early on

My biggest fear came to fruition. Full strength roster means it’s time for the cornerstone to sacrifice for whatever reason. Even Duncan played 16 minutes less than him and got 1 more shot in the flow of the offense

We now have the 11th pick.

Think we can get as high as 8 if coaching stays the same.

Lets go get our next goat.

Herro jacking that dumbass 3 and Giddey blocking it leading to a 3 for Chicago was the momentum shifter down the stretch. He has been horrible in the clutch all season

One of the more depressing Heat seasons i’ve had to endure. I liked the Dion Waiters years so much more
