He’s not a Heat guy lol

Amazing how people can just project bias and make things look negative when they have a negative outlook on a player

The tall white guy is a Heat media guy. Bam was mad at the other guy. Don’t know what he was doing but he kept following Bam around while on his phone.

I know some people have a higher pain tolerance than others, but I don't see Jimmy out there limping, wincing, and grimacing. He simply looks gassed. There were some possessions in transition he was having a hard time getting over half court. To his credit he spent a lot of energy on defense locking down Jamal Murray, and the excuse I've read for other players when they aren't producing on offense is that they do so much defensively, so I'll live with that..it's not like he wasn't putting shots up. We are just going to have to embrace the "15 strong" mentality and keep getting production across the board.

Very true. And you won't say it but I will. Bam has been allowed to be garbage on offense but credited for having a "good floor game" and superior defense and "doing the little things" in multiple games in multiple series. Not that I don't think that's fair, but we literally give no other role players that pass and that's one thing. THE LEAST we can do, however, is give our guy Jimmy that same grace. He is clearly struggling, possibly because of rest or his knee/ankle, and is gutting through it. Despite that, other than efficiency, at the end of the night his and Bam's actual outputs were relatively equal. It was Jimmy locking up Jamal Murray, and it was Jimmy drawing all the defensive attention that freed other guys up.

Yes, I'm frustrated with his play the last few games as well, but 1) I'm confident he will pick it up and 2) I can already see the criticism of him being used divisively. Sick of the smiling faces and hidden agendas of player fans, I thought we got rid of the stink of that bs when LeBron left.

I think everyone that followed the GSW through their championship runs knows that Draymond has a certain set of responsibilities that are key for the team to succeed and Steph has an entirely different set of responsibilities for the team to succeed. I also think GSW fans all clearly and universally agree that Steph is THAT DUDE. The #1 on the team that needs to do the most exceptional things and get the hard buckets.

Jimmy came up with big makes in the 4th last night to answer Denver when they were on a run and roaring back. I'm fully confident he will continue to do so.

I have no real interest in pinning support of our players against each other lol

We need this Bam all the time. His aggressiveness on offense and his passing have been awesome.

Jokic is going to get his. He's the most impactful player in the NBA today. It's all about making him work and always have to take the more labored route to getting his. Can't let him have low effort possessions where he just scans and picks apart our defense and finds an easy open 3.

Bam makes him work one-on-one on offense, we force him into the action on defense, and drain his energy so he doesn't have a max power punch in the 4th. This is the way.

If we can frustrate him with non-basketball nonsense along the way, all the better.

Bam finishes with 63-29-14 and holds Jokic to 0 points to secure the championship

RealGM: yea but remember that time last series where he only had 12 in the game 7 win and missed that easy hook?!?!

Jokic is unreal. Everything he does is unorthodox scoring wise and while the shots he makes are crazy I’m actually shocked when he misses

Really all of Denver's advantage came during their 2nd quarter run where their bench mobbed us. Miami's ramped up energy level to start the game and increased physicality really allowed our starters to control the game early. Getting Kevin Love back in the starting lineup for this series has proven to be optimal. The added size and ability to mitigate Gordon trying to use his bread and butter (brute force) is huge.

Love played 22 minutes last night. I think that's his upper limit to keep his contribution positive and keep him in form to see this series through.

I'm not sure how Denver responds to this adjustment, aside from trying to have Gordon get Love in more action on the ball. If that means less possessions with Jokic dictating the offense, I will take it.

We need to figure out how to survive the minutes when Bam rests.

I was shocked to see Jokic scoring 41 points. I couldn't figure out how, because it didn't look like he scored a 40 point game on Bam. Bam made him work. Excellent Gabe all around. Ran plays for him to score and he capitalized on it.

Defensively...DAMN.

I think the answer to the non bam minutes is to eliminate as many of them as possible. Maybe stagger love early to come back in for Bam? If not put Highsmith out there, at least he’ll stretch the floor and is a really good defender. Jokic cooks Zeller as it is so we’re not getting anything from him. If Jokic doesn’t step out Highsmith can knock down an open shot.

Rest bam the last 2 minutes of the 1st and 3rd. Maybe a minute into the following quarter but at minimum he needs to be playing like 43-44 a night. We can’t afford anything less

Yea’, just my opinion, but talking about him not ‘playing with passion’ is kinda ableist. Man’s is barely playing on two feet, how can that even be a convo rn

Fans have no idea what some of these players are risking sometimes. Beyond grateful that he’s even out there

Pretty sure Jokic scored about 30 on Zeller.
