Playing dominoes and drinking beer with his agent in the Heat locker room, while your team is getting their asses handed to them in Houston?? (while he’s supposed to be conditioning himself)

The optics look crazy with this lol.

Is it common for NBA players to drink beer in the locker rooms? I remember watching the Last Dance on Netflix and I remember seeing Bulls players like MJ and Pippen drink beer after the games.

Is it not that big of a deal?

Honestly think they have been hashing chit out with the FO during this break. Bernie Lee in the lockerroom should be viewed as a good thing. Everybody looks happy so take it for what it is. Jimmy is still that dude. I can’t wait to have him back.

Read on Twitter

Lonzo is the other free agent PG out there making 20 million that we’ll be able to trade for. Ball and Brogden are the realistic targets that help us this year and help us get out of the tax next year by a lot with a chance at resigning at a much cheaper rate. The cost for both also seems right up our alley.

Me too love, I love Jimmy, just the optics seem suspect at best lol.

Need Lonzo here ASAP. Riles likes him and scouted him in 2017.

This could be Riley’s Tim Hardaway 2.0 for real

Lonzo is intriguing, but that injury history scares me. Might be Oladipo 2.0

This type of vision and playmaking from the PG spot with Bam and Ware would be a sight to behold.

Buying low with limited assets. Have to keep swinging at these lotto tickets. Worst case he’s off the books next year. Robinson, J Rich, and 2nd is worth the price of admission. Ball even in limited minutes here 20-25 a night with that type of playmaking would be a massive boost.

We deserve the Tim Hardaway arch type this go around instead of the Oladipo.

If it worked out, the payoff would be enormous. Feels like relatively low risk, potentially high reward.

For sure. Could be a great opportunity for us and for Ball to improve his value getting quality minutes here. Reminds me when Riley bought low on Hardaway coming off the ACL and the Warriors not playing him much looking to move on.

Is there any avenue that makes sense to Brogdon or Lonzo with Vuc?

Probably not cause I think we have to pay dearly to get off Rozier till next year. Duncan’s partial atleast has some value. Vucevic also has another year on contract which makes it a little more trickier on the cap next year. Life is easier on the books next year if either Rozier or Duncan’s full salary with no dead money is clean off. This is what makes Brogden and Ball’s deals valuable to us. At least in the offseason if we like them we can possibly retain them also at a much better rate that keeps us below the tax line.
