Not giving up Winslow or Adebayo for Kyrie. Imagine if one of them becomes a top 20 player.

If we got Kyrie, for me it would be to form a core of Kyrie/Justise/Bam/Whiteside. Trade to get the best fitting SG if Waiters doesn't fit & use JJ, KO, etc as bench depth. If Bam & Justise develop well then we have a team that can challenge the best in a couple years.

To me Justise, Bam & Whiteside are off limits in a Kyrie trade, but everyone else is on the table. Unfortunately, due to the recent FAs that's a somewhat empty table, and one that others (like Suns) can trump.

Problem is it sounds like Cavs want youth pieces in return. They're not interested in Dragon I don't think, especially since signing Rose. So unless another team is involved that we end up with Kyrie and Dragon goes elsewhere I don't really see it happening unless we give up the young guys.

What teams would actually be interested in Dragon, and have the young pieces to exchange for him?

That's a huge overpay, especially if it's an unprotected pick

Bledsoe & 1.Pick & Role Player ( Len/Bender/Warren/etc.) is fair but I don't think Cle takes that.

Kind of an overpay, imo. But not huge. He does have two years left. It should be just Bledsoe and Jackson or Bledsoe and a first.

It's likely our pick that the suns are offering.

Suns are looking for a draw. Iriving brings that to the franchise. Agree that the Nuggets could also put together a very nice offer.

either way we should get a little more realistic about the fact that this too really is a reach. Heat Twitter has so many guys like Leif that are in the know that are constantly preaching confidence about every little pursuit to the point where the Riley love is actually starting to become unfairly irrational. Riley is a God, but there is only so much we can do at this juncture in FA with an unappealing roster and in the trade market with depleted or undesireable resources.

Hey now lol.....I just tweet what I hear. When I have tweeted confidence on Durant or Hayward,it was because that confidence was genuine. I haven't tweeted anything I've heard on Kyrie. Only my opinion. Tried to make it clear in my tweets. Sorry if I misled you. I actually don't tweet much of what I hear now because of the fact I get slammed for stuff if it doesn't happen and also I know expectations build up, and then people slander the FO. I will always speak with a positive mindset regarding this franchise & approach things glass half full because the franchise has done little that would make me approach with any less. I'm a fan just like everyone else.

Massive overpay, steal of the offseason. I would have a hard time rooting against JJackson on Cavs. If Cavs get that, they better take it and run. Suns would just devalue the next two years of Booker, Irving. Do it Koby

So for those who know him, is this Matt Williams dude any good or is he like that Andre Dawkins guy that we used to choose between TJ for the 15th roster spot back then?

Windhorst has no sources in the Suns FO and it's not even what he said.

Windhorst: "Talking to some executives today, they think the team that could make the Cleveland Cavs the best offer for Kyrie Irving is the Phoenix Suns. They have a package they could offer with Eric Bledsoe and possibly this guy they just drafted, Josh Jackson. Would they be willing to include that prized young player in a package for Kyrie Irving? It's unclear at this point."

Why imagine when Kyrie is already a top 20 player. Plus he's only 4 years older than Winslow. If Winslow was the main part in a trade for Kyrie we'd be stupid to decline.

Honestly Winslow has yet to even flash top 20 potential. A trade seems unlikely so I'd hope Winslow becomes a great player but I'm not holding my breath I'd trade him for a star right now.

Fringe top 20 player. Winslow and Adebayo could become decent 2-way players(especially Adebayo). If Kyrie was an actual PG then I'd think about trading Winslow.

Fringe but he's 25 he's far from a finished problem and he's already better than what i'd project Bam and Winslow to be. That could change but the jump Winslow would have to make this year is unrealistic and Bam is very raw so it could take some time.

Didnt mean to make it a call out dude. Like I said, I'm on your side.. I do believe in our stability, that Riley is the don, that we ARE one of the better organizations in sports. These things are obvious. That being said, to get stars over here you need to have the pieces in place that they want to play with. The roster needs to be better than a roster that just missed the playoffs. Sure KD & Hayward will say all the right things, but when it comes down to it we were still last in both races. We sell our appeal as an organization better than anyone else, but it's just not going to be enough at this point. And as for Riley's forte, the trade market, we need picks, better and more proven youth (maybe Winlsow notches up value this year). I have confidence that we will get back on track, but in time. For as much as we give the Celtics crap, we also missed out on the same batch of disgruntled stars they have, except they actually landed Hayward.

I guess above all, I'm just saying that I love this FO but I feel there's some mysticism being perpetuated since the big 3 that's constantly going to be letting fans down haha. Sorry again if it seemed like a call out, I do always appreciate your insight regardless. Im just a frustrated Heat fan trying to stay in the middle! Don't go hiding all your nuggets now.

He's a sharpshooter. Going to be a great other option to Ellington.
