Way too much format changes for All-star game as an attempt to freshen up what's been stale & disappointing. The only problem is it's not altering format that will help....the key ingredient has always been the players Competitiveness & care-factor. These players don't give a f*ck anymore, they're soft, too much buddy buddy culture & get paid way too early in their careers. No one hungry to want or need to show & prove. It's a pathetic display of NBA for the last decade+. This yr is no different.

I don't know why fans even care about the AS game. It's not been a worthwhile watch for a long long time.

One thing they could do is have rookies and sophmores vs allstars, player coaches or commentator/sports analysts as coaches.

I actually liked this all star game. It wasn't a fear start but Dame and Curry unlimited range made it worth it. They were talking half court shots like regular threes. That made it an AS game I'll actually remember.
And Dame is cooold. His sturbonness however will hurt his legacy. If he teamed up with another top 10 player he wins a chip or two.

Blake probably does not do much for BK, but they had enough to win the East anyway.

If Blake comes out playing well though, it won't be a good look for the league, PR-wise
