I will take it.
Best case is he guides us to the Finals and dominates like Dirk.
Worst case is he gets injured and nets us 36 million in expiring.

WAY too much
My desire to rid this team of Herro has impaired my judgement

That's a massive overpay for a potential rental.
oops, I meant to put just 1 pick
Herro, Oladipo, and #18 in exchange for Porzingis if he agrees to an extension
So, you have a few problems. First, he needs to opt in to make that trade, because there is 0% we S&T for him and get hard-capped. Unfortunately, that's the only way you can guarantee that extension. No other agreement is binding.
Given that he is not extended, KP is a rental. He's worth expirings. Maybe send Lowry + Oladipo and a future FRP. Keep Herro. He is not valuable on realgm, but he is valuable anyhow.
I would trade Lowry + Dipo + #18 for KP and have Herro and Vincent run point.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

If Herro stays on the Heat, who has better stats next year? Beal or Herro? I expect Herro will avg more on the Heat and definitely more if he goes to a bad team and gets the green light all the time.

Has anyone identified a team out there that would send the wizards a FRP to dump a bad contract?

Ideally trade for a proven starting PF
quality bigs are harder to find

Us. Lowry or Duncan dump to facilitate a Kyrie trade

He could have gotten a heads up that Portland has a handshake deal in hand to get him his running mate.

Exactly lol
Seems like the Heat may not be done talking to Washington.

If that's the case, then it has to be Duncan. Much worse contract.
Lowry is an expiring, we can find someplace for him.

He misquoted Tupac.

Then we done bleeped up. Pat was trying to basically rape the Wiz thinking he had an advantageous position thanks to Beal and his no trade clause. Now that we want to deal with them and they have the power it's going to be awkward to state it mildly. To say over pay will be an understatement, people in high power tend to take things personally.

I wanted to use another gif but this is close enough.

For some reason I feel better that we didn’t really lose out on Beal, sounds like we didn’t want him that bad considering his salary and injury history etc, we prob offered Lowry Robinson and some 2nds
