I was wondering the same thing. It looks to me like he's buried on the bench until injuries bite or someone gets traded.

What is wild is that he's the 5th highest paid player on that team. :o

Yikes!

He was the clear backup here behind Lowry. Again, not sure what happened, but at least he is the 5th highest paid in LA!?

Speaking of Lakers guards, what’s interesting is how our golden boy, Kendrick Nunn, couldn’t get minutes even over the just acquired Avery Bradley. Between Westbrook, Rondo, Bradley, THT, and Monk, minutes are looking slim at the guard position for our boy. Throw in specialist Wayne Ellington, and Nunn seems to be deep on the bench. Wonder what the fall out was between he and the Heat, but it doesn’t seem like things are going well for him to start in LA.

Nunns injured.

That Knicks game was pretty fun to watch despite Tatum’s shooting woes. That boy was ass!

Spoiler:
I'm aware he is on $35m and we have no reasonable tradeable contracts for him. Plus he smells

Issue is that contract: we have nothing expendable to deal for it. He D would fit with Jimmy/Bam beautifully (assuming Jimmy doesn’t actually kill him). That and Rich Paul - dude is flat out off limits for the Heat.

That's not as rare as a Winslow sighting.

A tidbit on B.Simmons.
Brian Windhorst on his Hoop Collective podcast mentioned D.Morey saying he's willing to wait 4 years(his contract length) to trade B.Simmons for what he feels is a good return.

Here we go, I couldn't find it earlier. So this dramatically weakens the 76ers until something is done. I'd expect that something will be done before the trade deadline to give Philly time to integrate the new player(s) to be at full strength for the playoffs. It's actually the smartest thing to do for the franchise, give yourself time for some teams to underperform and decide to blow it up.

Posturing by Morey. No way this drags out longer than a month or two tops. Probably waiting for December once players signed this offseason can be dealt too.

He shouldn't be kidding. There's no way he's getting any decent offers, and there's no reason for him to trade him for players that are significantly worse. Also, you don't reward bitch behavior. If you allow a guy to hold you hostage with 4 years left on his contract, then you may as well do away with multi-year contracts altogether.

Maybe not getting paid for a month or so will make Ben realize he’s getting paid for a job. Lots of people dislike where they work, most people don’t have the option to do what Ben is doing.

Not for nothing, but Boston looks a little shaky.
