The current team isn't bad and could win the East if everything went our way (total long shot), but it's likely a top 5 team in the East and gets beaten by a more talented team. We're going to need Jimmy to average 40 every game to even have a chance again. I guess we pray the 3 point shooters actually show up in the playoffs and the young guys get better. Bam has to be a better scorer. The 4 spot will probably be addressed soon.

Plus there is always the chance of a move at the trade deadline.

we have been waisting jimmys career since he arrived in miami... this is nothing new. we got this guy no help at all, and we are obssessed with this tyler herro guy who not many ppl believe he is very good, nor even starter worthy. They could trade jimmy to a contender like the suns/dallas and get a monster rebuilding package. have a few down years where we develop some youth and build a future for ourselves. im not a fan of what the heat have done with this team.

A conference finals and finals in 3 seasons is not wasting lol.

Starting to think maybe we should start Yurt with Bam at the 4. Force Bam out if his comfort zone sink or swim and try to be a scoring 4. I don’t see any better options at this point.

Maybe it’s Riley that has to force Spo out of his comfort zone. He has a whole summer to scheme for Yurt and Bam front court.

This “wasting Jimmy’s career” narrative I’ve seen from a certain segment of this deluded fanbase is comedy. Jimmy has literally gone the farthest he has ever been in his career, with THIS organization. I’d be willing to wager he doesn’t feel that way…..at all

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

This is how im feeling right now. Its Hard to tell a successful coach to change his style but you have to play to the strengths of your roster. Lowry get in shape, Duncan work with a defensive coach, Bam shooting coach etc. nobody is lining up to save Riley and this will force the teams hand to lock in and grow together

Honestly think that's where we were heading with or without PJ. Bam at the 4 and Yurt at the 5. It may even be why they rated Jokic...Jokic as a stretch 4 and Bam at the 5.

A refreshing take from the usual complaints regarding Jimmy. Much rather Jimmy's journey of fighting his heart out to win a title than down Beals road of whoring himself for for an organisation that has gone nowhere for over a decade. We've been able to pay Butler plus given him the opportunity to contend. Injuries got in the way but we've stayed consistent in the hunt. He's turned his reputation around. I'm sure Jimmy's grateful to be able to show case himself to the world. Character is always more important than a shiny medal - that's exactly what we teach kids in youth sports. It's pretty cool to have a trophy though during the process :D

Definitely feels we’re out on KD.

Siakam, Anunoby, Trent Jr and 3 1st for Durant, Harris, and Curry? Damn trade works to the dollar on the checker.

I'm really concerned how this is all going to shake out I can actually see scenarios where all teams involved in these deals could all improve and KD and Mitchell both end up in the East as well as Brooklyn actually being a better team.

On top of that,
Milwaukee got better,
Boston got considerably better,
76ers will likely be constructed better,
Atlanta got better and depending on a return of Collins could improve more.
Chicago made subtle improvements

So far we've only gotten worse and team moral could be in shambles if we return mostly intact with half the roster being shopped all offseason.

Depending how this all shakes out we might want to seriously consider our future prospects with Jimmy and Lowry so we could possibly maximise a Bam/Herro future.

I'm not all the way there yet with this take, but getting closer and closer with the more time that passess.

Something please happen soon...

Regardless of what the high and mighty are saying, it’ll be a travesty if we don’t get Jimmy a ring here

Looks good for Brooklyn but lots of question marks for Durant. Suns situation with Paul and Book a lot better but that package from Toronto better serves Brooklyn. I don’t think Durant ends up with the Raps. Still have the Suns on top when all said and done.
