Knowing how Spo operates I agree but he has some pieces to throw some interesting lineups out there to muck up games like the one I just listed earlier.

Depending on the matchup, everyone can be interchangeable outside Bam and Jimmy.

From knee brace Wade, knee brace Whiteside, knee brace Dragic, knee brace Oladipo now knee brace Rozier. What all the past knee brace warriors had in common is that the knee brace made it difficult for these players to handle the load as a starter. This might be destined for Rozier, of course depending on how he recovers. But expectation should be that he will struggle with being explosive. Spo may likely start Rozier but he will be limited to backup minutes.

My feeling that the starting lineup "should" be Herro, Butler, Robinson, Martin and Adebayo. Ten man rotation with Rozier, Jovic, Love, JRich (Wright) and Highsmith the rest of this regular season. Robinson should play his mins with Bam and Jovic on the floor at all times. Jovic should be a player that Spo needs to highlight off the bench, have plays designed for him to expose mismatches.

I mean, Wade played with Dorell for years and they’re super tight. Of course he was gonna do the jersey swap with lil bro.

Goes further than that… Wade is the godfather of one of Dorell’s kids.

Everyone wanted Alex Caruso… we got Delon Wright. Is the opinion that we got something better or worse than Caruso?

Delon Wright is a good pickup. I hope the team will be fully healthy soon.

If his scoring translates to the nba, it opens up all kinds of possibilities for Mia.

The political fall out of having either or both Herro and Rozier come off the bench wouldn’t apply to a G leaguer which mean they could promote Alondes (next season) to the scoring gun off the bench role and look to move either or both Herro and Rozier for an upgraded perimeter player.

The Wright signing allows the team to bring Rozier back slowly, to make sure that he’s healthy for a playoff run. It also gives Spo an excuse to see what being starting Wright and bringing Rozier off the bench could look like.

I’m glad the Bucks rushed into trading for Pat Bev. It seems like Wright would’ve been an excellent fit for them, and replaced Beasley as a starter.

Offensively he promotes ball movement much more than Caruso and GP2. Defensively they’re all cut from the same super-rare cloth: small guards who are capable of +3 defensive boxes and sub -110 defensive ratings.

You can tell they all studied Chris Paul (who led the entire NBA in defensive box in his fourth season). They accomplish these crazy feats by being pit bulls on the ball without having to gamble, never losing awareness off the ball, and constantly influencing teammates’ assignments with heavy communication a la Draymond.

They all have that springy bounce to their step on defense, mastery of angles, excellent opponent scouting, high end shot contest skills, and ability to bait errant passes.

His feet are awesome, he boxes out, and he’s one of the best overhead pass anticipators: he’ll snatch it out of midair. I’m so freaking anxious for the season to restart, the AS game is a criminal waste of time.

Unlike Rozier who’s metrics after 10 games look horrible, Wright’s are gonna be eye popping quote me on that.

We got something worse than Caruso but he's still a solid pick up. Caruso's offense is way better. Caruso instantly pushes Rozier to the bench and starts next to Herro while with Delon I expect Spo to tinker with the lineup for the best fit. Delon might start, might not or might not even be played much in the playoffs if we're being honest. I hope we does get solid run in the playoffs though. We could use him against guys like Dame, Brunson, Jaylen Brown, Mitchell, Maxey etc.

Spo had a front row seat and saw he was arguably the only competitive player for the Hawks in his last playoff appearance. He’s definately playing 15-18 minutes if healthy.

Fans in general put too much stock into who is starting. We may see subs as early as 5-6 minutes into the game, numerous different rotations throughout, and night-to-night probably a different closing 5 than who starts.

Caruso is better on both ends but Wright is a damn good alternative and didn’t have to give anything up to get him

When I started defending Bam on here a couple years ago he was getting Clint Capela/Joel Anthony comps (he still does), now he’s an all star starter but STILL the most hated. He will continue to get better, stay tuned.
