So... we were supposed to force Bosh to play with blood clots? That would have been better.

And... wtbf? Wade left us.

Boston fans are starting to look desperate.

celtics fans mad, they have been promised stars for years with all their assets and all they have to show is paying max to get al horford.

hayward might go to boston, but at this point, the only reason would be he wants to play for his college coach.

We cannot get the MLE. We are under cap with cap space to sign players, so all we get is the Room exception.

We can sign players up to cap, use the room exception, and then minimum contracts.

but GOM, isn't that a timing thing? Like if we sign Hayward, and additional space for one of JJ/Dion. Then we could be capped and offer the MLE to the other of JJ/Dion?

Financially the choice is either Jazz or Heat. In terms of taxes. Jazz can give that extra year, but in his prime that extra year shouldn't matter that much.

We are the "current favorite" to sign Hayward.

nope, you dont get the MLE if you operate as a team with cap space which we would be doing by signing hayward, even if we S&T for hayward, we dont have bird rights for JJ or Dion...i think....

shouldn't matter at all. we could give him a 3+1, he can opt out after 3 and we can give him the super max 200mil+ that i would never want to actually give him lol...if he is concerned about leaving money on the table, andy will be all over that like it was a chocolate cake.

Yes. TJ and James Johnson will be starters. Something like this:

Dragic, TJ, Hayward, JJ, Whiteside
Winslow*, McGruder*, Richardson, Okaro, Adebayo, UD (on minimum)

* (edited - I forgot Rookie 1 2015 and Rookie 1 2016)

We need to waive McRoberts and stretch him.

For Ellington, maybe sign him for the room exception. It's a discount this year of $1.8, but then he gets two years instead of one (so more money altogeter) and we'll have his bird rights.

I looked at his linkedIn and this guy mainly has boston roots. I assumed his sources were always pro boston so this is surprising

No no no. You can't do that. LOL.

"A team can't act like it's under the cap and sign free agents using cap room, and then use its Disabled Player, Bi-Annual, Mid-Level and/or trade exceptions."

Hold on I'll post a link:

i like JJ and Tj off the bench.

i'd even take something like

dragic/jrich
mcgruder/tj
hayward/winslow
babbit/jj/bam
whiteside/bam

love that spacing for the staring lineup, would like an upgrade at the 4 but babit with bird rights and shooting 40% from 3 is fine for me.

Ibaka is just doing what Lowry did in 2014 (they have the same agent) and using us as leverage for his deal in Toronto.

If Dion leaves, we gotta persuade Wade(if he gets bought out) to come back. I really like J-Rich but he ain't ready to start.
