I feel like this dude has been around forever, but he's only just turned 32. Still has a few years of high level ball, and is an exceptional shooter and has size. Not a shot blocker and not sure how he'd fit defensively, but he's a player.

He's a good player and they have no way to replace him if he walks. We're in a similar position with Vincent, you either pay or...you don't have cap space anyway.

They almost HAVE TO match ANY offers he gets.

Singing players isn't done in a vacuum, it's all about the options it closes or keeps alive after you sign. What are the alternatives conidering the CBA.

Mavs losing Brunson for nothing will probably kill their team for the foreseeable future, they would be much better off if they would have kept him even by grossly overpaying him (like 43Mil a year), after they lost him they lost all the cap tools to bring in an above average starter.

Maybe reply back that he got closer than you dad ever will? I kind of believe there's way more perks than problems being CP3's kid.

kids say the cruelest things, because when they say them they don't understand the context of their words, Its usually from a position of pain that being reflected. They say things for the purpose of just getting a rise out of the situation if their words sting because its what they have learned at home. Oh boy do they sting sometimes, luckily for me I once beat up my verbal bully in 4th grade after I called him out. I was in Karate for over 2 years at that point and felt good enough to talk back, so it escalated and It ended with him having to big bruising black eyes, a broken nose. We somehow became friends after that, and then learned of the fact he came from a broken home, and understood there and then we don't all get the privilege of having good parents who teach you to be a good person and take the time to invest in your life. I obviously felt terrible after a while, and understood why discipline is such an important thing in life, just cause you can do something doesn't mean you should.

I don't think so.

Vincent's career numbers (39.9% FG & 33.9% 3pt) are barely employable ... and usually the kind of shooting numbers you only accept from a shutdown defender. Gabe is not a shutdown defender. Don't get blinded by a hot streak. Vincent is on a minimum deal and shouldn't be offered too much more than that.

Rightly or wrongly, be prepared to be disappointed contract. He’s going to get a big offer and we likely sign him to it.

If that happens there's just no excuse. At least with Duncan there were historically high 3pt percentages at a high rate and dreams of discount Steph. There is absolutely nothing to support offering either Gabe or Max even Caleb type money. I'm sure Spo loves him because he probably sees himself in all of these G-Leaguers, but if he goes to bat for Gabe, Pat better tell him that he needs to figure out how to get $18 million worth of production out of Duncan before he considers spending a million over the minimum on another of these marginal projects.

Probably, so I'll be done with listening to anyone on this board talk about the lack of talent on the team unless they're blaming the FO, it's hard to acquire talent when you fill up your cap with marginal talent on sizable contracts while also send out trade assets to get rid of bad contracts they created. I've been expecting a bad Vincent contract for a couple years now when they wouldn't sign Dragic at the minimum, not only would he have helped, he has a good history in Miami and still... not signed.

Wouldn't be surprised if Timberwolves look to trade Kat. Pelicans would be a great destinations for KAT

Timberwolves are like the Magic and Wizard, hard to predict the dumb moves they will make. Pelicans would be wise to trade Zion. They have a title contending dual in McCullum and Ingram. They should empty the clip for KAT.

Probably just agents trying to manufacture a market for their guys to drive up the offers.

Woj mentions that Van Vleet may be interested in doing a sign and trade to a team of his liking.

Pistons are expected to make a run at Grant this summer.

Detroit, arguably the biggest unrestricted name is Jerami Grant, who was a Piston a year ago. He’s got a great relationship with Troy Weaver and loves the city of Detroit. I believe they’ll have an idea if they can get him right now as we speak.

They don’t own there picks from what I remember or have a very low protection on them, so it makes 100% sense to switch to playoff mentality.
