Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
This. I nvr wanted KD, It would be cool to get him as he's a proven winner & the better talent but I like my journey tougher and the right way. Why i treasure our 06 title & despise the big-3 'ships. I wanna go to battle w/ players that wanna be here & who we have a connection with. Why I ride w/ Dipo - he loves it here & guarantee we're going to get his vry best nxt season. Same w/ Butler.
Forget KD & let's go all in on Mitchell.
This long silence means we're doing something and so either something is brewing or nothing will happen at all. I'm not picky but I hope if we're successful that it's Mitchell that will appear from the smoke.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
If James Jones is the GM of the Jazz that would've been done a few days ago.
We are dealing with Danny Ainge who always wants to be on the winning side of a trade. This is a pipedream.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
Our all in unfortunately may not be enough regardless. Honestly asking any team for these star players to eat Duncan’s contract just for the right to have Herro is not a strong hand when looking at some of these other proposed deals.

I think the right move is to look for a quality 4 and run it back. Continue to showcase Herro and Robinson in the regular season for a possible trade for a disgruntled whale in the deadline. Start Yurt at Center and make his stats go up for a possible trade too.

Mitchell needs to force the issue and say something, at this point I dont even know if he really wants to come here or if its fan fiction. We havent heard a peep from his agent via Woj/Shams, you would think a player that really wants out would start leaking his intentions.
I dont have a problem swinging for the fences to land a star but there needs to be a deadline on these talks. We cant sit around for weeks while these franchises drag their feet trying to figure out what to do. If nothing materializes by Wednesday I hope we move on to plan C and D and just get on with the offseason.

Oh and Duncan for Crowder and Craig is probably out the door too if Durant ends up with the Suns. Those two are cheap veteran depth on expiring contracts who compliment Durant.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
Yea’, hard for me to see Mitchell happening unless he forced his way out and I’m not seeing that.
I don’t see why any franchise, let alone Utah, would push a young star out that didn’t ask to be pushed

Haha, I mean... I wouldn't say I'm a fake insider – that's probably a real shtick here for some. In general, I'm a little negative/ doom and gloom about my favorite teams when things aren't going how I'd like them to... just how I am.
My man…I’m also a little doom and gloom

I'm prepared for the worst but hoping for the best. This thing ain't over yet. Until something's announced we're still in this.

If we don't land KD I'm blaming ICC. Feel like it would be the basketball God's punishing him for lying to us about having our guy, handshake deal, trades after 6 pm. Exposed.

Already at the point in the offseason where I’m praying for Isaiah Roby to clear waivers.

how so? did any of those seasons end in titles? why should we proud of just making an ECF, or making a Finals? wrong kinda of mentality to have imo.
