I was wrong on Mitchell. I thought no chance he'd stick around with Cavs. Looks like he just might. Makes no sense. Cavs are a good team but not contender or close to one. Why stay in a **** market with no chance to win on a team you weren't drafted on ? If he doesn't care about market, he should be angling for a move to OKC. That's a team thats close that needs one more elite scorer.

Its the $$$upermax and Cavs have the most to offer for his bird rights. No other explanation needed.

Get Trae Young a tight fade and get him on the Heat. Prioritize size and defense across the board. I'm ready for it.

Tyler and Dejounte is actually a complementary pairing. Pair that with Jalen Johnson and Alex Sarr and that's a balanced young core (even tho Murray is already 27).

I guess in this bizarro world Miami can only make trades in their own division?

If that happens would.heat.be interested in Darius Garland?

I think they can guarantee a 5th year so it would be for 269 million. Most players these days don’t turn that down. They can always request a trade later like Lillard did. I think the smoke about him resigning holds a lot of weight. Klutch caught wind and immediately flung out that Garland will ask for trade. Maybe he ends up in Klutchwood Lakers.

TBH I'm not sure I actually believe that ATL is looking to ship off Trae

The question is why are they trading him? If it’s for salary relief and picks we can’t offer that. If it’s for a defensive upgrade then why would they want Herro?

Garland is one of Klutch’s favorite son’s. He’s not coming here

The narrative and truth is that Dejounte and Trae aren't a great fit together because they both are best as the lead guard on the ball. But, I honestly don't yet buy that they're actually looking to ship Trae off.

Besides the Klutch connection, I don't see Garland making the Heat much better.

Really funny how Lebron and Paul were both courtside peeping out Garland during that playoff game. Nothing is a coincidence with those two

Doesn't sound like a player Cleveland might sell off. If they have any chance of keeping him they probably will.

No itll be Pat Riley’s fault when he refuses to trade Jovic or JJJ for Mitchell, or hell he refuses to send Herro again

Good for Mitchell to clear the air and debunk reports that are throwing his teammates under the bus and showing them in a negative light. Mitchell is a good dude, he’s not going to let his boys get drug through the mud like that.

In the end it means nothing when it comes to his decision. Time will tell and maybe money talks but he’ll be able to recoup that money 1 way or another whether it’s with the Cavs or not.
