there is no guarantee that KD will ever be KD again (odds are clearly against it). Nets are the perfect team for him to be relevant again, or vanish quietly from NBA history with minimum drama. win-win for everyone

remember Mario Chalmers? he played only one szn after torn achilles and he was about 30 I believe. everyone wants/loves a miracle comebyke story, it's just a brutal injury to come back from.
