And then to make it worse, I assume Turner and a pick will make up the basis of the deal (this is a guess). So Turner going to Suns would also that that potential option away from Heat.

Can't see them getting anything of value for Ayton. Probably Turner, a young player and a pick at the most. Maybe not even a pick. Indiana could've signed him outright. Why give up anything of value.

Also, if you're sending the assets to Brooklyn then why not just make it a 3 team trade?

Hield might be getting packaged to the Nets to be there starting two with Bridges and Johnson but just a guess. Could be Turner but getting off Hield’s deal makes more sense. Turner makes a lot of sense though for the Suns as an Ayton replacement.

I assure you that's not the deal. No way they're giving up Haliburton and definitely no way they're giving up 3 1st round picks.

They should call their bluff. Suns -Ayton relationship is terrible and they should know that.

It's the cost of making sure you getting a high level/core player to continue to build around, why risk missing out on someone you want for your long term core? It's not like he's not talented, even if he wasn't worth the #1 pick he was a top talent in that draft.

That's 100 % a BS rumor. They don't need to give up that much. If PHX demands a ton in a S&T, Pacers could just trade Turner + 1st to SAS for cap space and they would have space to sign him to a max offer sheet which PHX won't match.

That's obviously not true lol They're building around Halliburton.. and 3 picks? cmon man. Remember, Indiana has the leverage here because of how this could impact KD trade AND cape space. If Suns match they can't trade Ayton for another 6 months.

They will call their bluff unless they can get off salary/receive assets.

lmao, that's not going to be the deal.

The only reason am S&T is done is because Ayton wants to get 5 years and the max. Indy can't offer the full max right now. So unless Indy can open up more space then it'll end up being something like Myles Turner for Ayton.

To be fair guys, whenever we hear a trade rumor that is so crazy it can't happen, remember teams have incompetent front offices. Even great front offices make stupid idiotic moves, case and point Lowry and Duncan. Maybe its "3" picks but they "convert" into a few second round draft picks. I hope that is the case but you never know with front offices.
