I wonder if Tobin will ask him about nicknames Heat fans been coming up for him and see what his opinion is of it. If Jaime likes it then I think its a pretty hard nick name.

To balance out my sensitivity with the Juan name (lol), let's riff on this:

The Mexican Jimmy Butler. The Mexican JB for short. Which also can stand for the Mexican Jumping Bean.

Apparently, Whitmore had more flags than a Memorial Day parade. That sit well with you?

Everything Ive read said, he has a similar attitude to Michael Beasley and Hassan Whiteside. Were he gets lost during rotations, and doesn't focus or follow directions well. Not very coachable, something Spo has no tolerance for.

watching the video of Portland's GM saying that quote from last night actually comes across like they will do what Dame wants to do. If he wants to stay they'll keep him but if he wants to move they will make it work.

He said "Dame's been more vocal about wanting to compete now more than ever but he doesn't consider it a negative and he has challenged them to get it done, which he has earned."

It didn't come across as confident either.

Dame just needs to ask and he will get delt here... Cmon Dame.

I disagree, I think he gets minutes. Especially if we lose Struss and trade Duncan/Herro

Rockets love themselves some misfit toys. He’ll probably put up stats like Kevin Porter Jr but that team will still be dead last due too the low IQ play and lack of effort when it matters. Had people saying the same clamoring for Porter Jr over Herro. Porter Jr slid for a reason the same as with Whitmore.

We rumor mongered a trade on here sending Herro to Orlando for the 11th pick. Magic drafted Jett. They wanted that model of player.

I did read something about him being one of the worst practice players and one of the best game players. That ish won’t fly here. My boy would be so glued to the bench that he’d have jeans on under his warmups.

Rockets dont even make sense.. they just drafted Eason and Jabari Smith and then take Whitmore.. how many of the same type of player are they taking.. its like the Detroit Lions constantly drafting receivers.

For the people complaining about posters being too negative

It's probably because the Heat have had poor offseasons for several years now, while we watch Jimmy carry this team deep into the playoffs, but the FO has failed in getting him the final piece to put us up over the top.

It's become negative because Heat fans all over the world, not just on RealGM, but on reddit, on twitter, everywhere... Heat fans are frustrated at watching Jimmy carry us, while we fail to make the improvement we need.

And it's the general inactivity of the Heat.

FOR EXAMPLE : The mavericks got off of a bad contract, by trading down in the draft. They got off of Bertrans contract to move from 10 --> 12. We need this so bad with Duncan Robinson's contract.

I just have a question :

If (that's an IF) we run it back, and Jimmy carries this team again deep into the playoffs, but once again we lose in the ECF or Finals, and it's for the same reason/s, ... are you going to be upset too? Or it's still all good just because we had another deep run?
