Trade 1: Heat send Fontecchio, Anderson and a lottery protected '26 1stRP for Kuminga (could also be Jaquez or Highsmith in place of either in this from the Heat, Warriors want some shooting and size, so that's why Fontecchio and ANderson made the most sense, the 1stRP is what could get this done. It's my understanding that the salaries can only add up to 50% of what we'd pay Kuminga so that plays a role as well)

Trade 2: Heat send Wiggins and Rozier for LeBron James

PG - L. James, D.Mitchell, K. Jakucionis
SG - T. Herro, HIghsmith, Larsson
SF - Kuminga, Jaquez
PF - Adebayo, Jovic
C - Ware, Love, Goldin

Will need to add a shooter but that team could surely come out of the East.

Even the players are becoming disgusted, maybe they’ll right their wrongs before the offseason is over

This team was never going to tank, not sure why anyone thought otherwise. I would at this point like to move on from Wiggins and Rozier and roll the dice on one more young guy.

Let’s go Bam and Tyler.

No excuses now, Jimmy is fully in the rear view.

Come into the season ready to dominate.

Bam is entering his prime prime years, time to see that final jump into stardom. He has the tools.

I’m going to be annoyed as fuxk watching this team pretend Wiggins is Jimmy and funneling a **** ton of offense through him.

I wouldn’t have an issue going young if we actually fully committed to that. But we are not if we have Wiggins, Slo-mo, Rozier on the roster. Because we all know Spo will play these guys.

If the direction is young and develop, there are steps we still need to take. Not run it back

We may low key have a damn good team to put around LeBron lol

I just don’t see him having the appetite for being the #1 option anymore

Dame
Herro
LeBron
Bam
Ware

Is that not a contender if Dame is back mid season?

With Jimmy gone, Bam is probably the most versatile player we have now.

Everyone in our front office other than Adam Simon needs to go.

That Miami Herald article is pure delusion.

Last season the Heat didnt have a point guard. Mitchell imrprovement and Jakucionis, the Heat now have 2 point guards (hopefully 3 in Smith), so Wiggins doesnt have to be a play maker.

Realistically, I think we're the 3rd or 4th best team in our division now. Orlando is clearly the best. Charlotte had a good draft and brought in some good pieces like Spencer Dinwiddie and Pat Connaughton. Wouldn't be surprised if they won more games than us next season. Not saying they will, but on paper it's a possibility.

1. Orlando
2. Charlotte
3. Heat/ATL
4. ATL/Heat
5. Washington

If we're developing the youth, just trade Wiggins and give the starting SF spot to Jaquez. His value can't get much lower so maybe we can rebuild it by giving him a defined role. He always looked much more confident as a starter, even as a rookie. In a perfect world, Kasparas can get 20-25 minutes out of the gate and make everyone look better with his playmaking.

Yeah, the team's defense will be trash and the floor spacing will be ugly but there's really not much pressure to be good this year when we own our pick. If we're ever gonna make a big move for a star, we need to put our young players in a position to increase their value because there's no path to acquiring many more picks without trading Bam/Herro (which the front office doesn't plan on doing any time soon).

It comes down to how much Bam can elevate his game. Maybe he can make an All-NBa team with the motivation that it will set him up for a massive contract extension.
