Wild that when we traded for Terry, we thought we were getting Discount Dame. Instead we got Super Expensive Smush Parker.

Do we get some sort of trade able exception if so? In other words, can we trade a player into that exception if he does get his contract voided? If so, and this dude truly is selling games, then he deserves to have that contract voided.

Guaranteed we aren’t seeing chit in any salary relief. NBA cleared him in there investigation and if the feds do anything he’s still innocent until a trial that will surely be postponed until his contract is up.

Youre probably right.. but we can always hope…

We can not allow spoelstra to have this lineup available:

herro
Rozier
Powell

He WILL do this.. and he may even go super small by putting JJJ at the 4.

Its crazy he had a wing of this fanbase in a chokehold while he was running up his stats in Charlotte. I mean literally begging to land him and what a dud he’s been.

Neck injury, was never the same they talked about it possibly being career ending when it happened. Terry has never been the player he was last year it was very weird

Heat going to ride with Bam and Herro and hope Powell can play that Gatling/Mason role. Get one more year out of him on the cheap. We're looking at 6-play in seed. But atleast the cap situation is pretty good.... except you guys said free agency doesn't really exist anymore due to CBA.

I do think Terry will have a better year than last being he is in a contract year.

Can’t believe this elite FO who makes millions and millions of dollars a year to make decisions like trades wasn’t able to see Rozier was a bust and have better judgement than the fans :(

I hope Terry has a year of DNPs for the Heat. He was good in Boston (when he was on his rookie deal?) and less good with Hornets. Heat hoped they were getting a 20ppg scorer who could contribute to playoff team, but if you've watched any games the last two years you would see there is a better chance of me getting hired by Andy Elisberg for $150K a year to pick up his breakfast, lunch, and dinner than Rozier positively contributing to the Heat.

Knowning Spo, Rozier is probably going to start for us, with Herro and Norm at the 2 and 3 spot

Hes definitely a more productive player on the bench.. keeping the seats warm..

Micky will be like i’m paying this guy close to 27 million he better play. This is from the same owner who tried to force Butler to play instead of stay home until a trade was made. It took Butler going complete scorched earth for them to get the message. It’s still only mid July so hopefully something can be worked out with Rozier contract but it’s not going to be easy to move expiring or not. We already have an open roster spot and Rozier becomes like a 14th dead roster spot and KJ is a redshirt so that’s a 13th dead roster spot.

He actually had some productive games to start the season, then there was the team meeting about not feeding Bam enough. Whatever was said he never played with the same aggression after that.

Damn if they do make a move and damn if they don’t.

Unfortunately in this case they did, and did not work out. In other cases they did, and it did work out (Dragic). And in other cases they didn’t and it worked out (Dame). Kyrie is one of those they did not go after and that decision did not work out… we should have gone for Kyrie.

Only one of those 4 scenarios gets recognized when it works out. The other 3 either get scrutinized or overlooked… so 3 out of 4 scenarios results in fans complaining when the 1 does not happen.

Tbh, I think that neck injury ruined Rozier. Stuff like that is tough to recover from, and could turn a slightly inefficient scorer to a washed chucker. Especially for such a small guard
