OK this one I'm less excited about. I just don't rate Gabe as an NBA prospect. No need to give him 2 years either, we've had 2 years and they've been scrubby.

Gabe is Bam’s best friend on the team and Spo just loves him an Anthony Carter/Norris Cole jag guard on the roster.

I kinda hate Kuzma due to hair, LA ties and general suckiness - but For Nunn I might do it if we can't get someone better.

At least it Balance chit out.
Who do you think is a better scorer, Nunn or Kuzma?

So I'm looking forward to certain lineups now that the roster is starting to take shape.

I want to see what Dedmon can do next to Bam with a full offseason in our program.

I want to see what having a real distributing point guard working with Bam, Robinson, and Herro can do. Keep in mind they've never had that and we all saw the quote from Serge Ibaka about what Lowry can do for Bam.

I want to see what the spacing will look like for Bam and Butler now that we have a point guard who can consistently hit from outside to go along with Dedmon/Tucker and Robinson/Herro.

I want to see the development of guys like Vincent, Yurtseven, and Strus.

I want to see what we look like with four or five great defenders on the floor together.

And I want to see how Spolestra is going to take advantage of having three great ball handlers in the starting lineup together. Our offense actually has the opportunity to be a thing of beauty if we play our cards right. Will we run teams out of the gym? I doubt it, but we could be a potent half court team.

I've been openly critical of the Lowry signing. It's a lot of money to invest in an old point guard. At the same time. I understand it. We're taking advantage of Jimmy's window and giving Bam the chance to get better.

Agree I think our ceiling will be how good bam and herro can be. I think if herro continues to improve he can be a 20 ppg scorer off the bench and a 6th man candidate

Nunn. But we just paid 30 Mil for a PG that plays in front of Nunn, and we have no PF that I trust to be serviceable.

Kuz can probably be an ok defender/rebounder, and can hit 3's as a stretch 4.

We can't sign and trade Nunn for anyone. He'll be a base year compensation player.

90 million for Lowry
90 million for Duncan
Giving PJ Tucker essentially what we refused to give Jae

.....I am puzzled by people giving our FO props. Riley is done. He's proven it yet again. This team's ceiling is a second round exit.

I wouldnt mind having Kuzma, but looking at the landscape there are more quality stretch 4s available than quality backup guards. Rudy is still out there and Nunn fits the system and knows how to play with Bam just as good as anyone. We know if Lowry is out Nunn slides into the starting position as a positive. We know he fits.

Then go find another team. I'm not thrilled with the Lowry signing because he's old, but we've been one of the best teams in the league since 1995. Over and over again we've gone to the playoffs and the finals. We've been right up there with teams like the Lakers and the Spurs.

Riley deserves the benefit of the doubt. He's forgotten more about basketball than most of us will ever know and he's still pushing for rings...

And the fact that Lowry is recruiting for the Heat. He got us Tucker and hopefully can get us Derozan. And hopefully the Heat can save enough for Kevin Love to get bought out.

Most likely any trade will be for a 2nd and trade exception.

Does anyone have a figure of how much we have left under the hard cap?

Just noticed Duncan only counting 15.5 first year against cap. Not bad

In 2021 you can’t build a team around two non shooters unless you have absolutely elite shooters around them. Shooting is a premium and we can’t afford to lose it.

What **** spacing? Show me the spacing. He literally needs 2 screens to get up half his shots. And it's hardly unusual to see him get wide open looks as his defender drifts away from him.

Why should any team bother to give us a second when we can't match?

Honestly have you ever liked a move the Heat has made or posted positively about any take/topic in this forum? Because I struggle to think of any.

Never. Well except for when we drafted Winslow, but we don't need to talk about that.

I'll make this easy for you to understand. When I'm happy, I express ~ 90% of that in physical space with people that I like. When I'm unhappy I bitch about it online so the people I like aren't burdened by my pointless anger.

Also the good people at RealGM have blessed every user with the power to moderate whose posts they see. If my negativity gets to you, just click on my board name, "add foe" ... and you're done. Easy peasy.
