It's the same old. Nets don't like any of their current packages, so it's gonna be drawn out. They want Bam from us obviously

No way I’m including any picks if we’re trading Bam. He’s worth more in a trade than KD is because of their ages

Seriously, putting BAM or Jimmy in any package for KD is foolish. This trade to Miami is not happening, we need to move on and get a solid 4 with other pieces and roll. Injuries will happen to all the teams and we proved with our depth we can still compete and land a #1 seed. If Lowry wasnt inured we would have played in the Finals.

KD is a shiny object on name. He isnt 28, he is 34 and injury prone. I figured nobody was beating Brooklyn with Kyrie, KD, and Harden and look how that worked out. They had to be part of the play-in just to get into the playoffs!

Move on, the Nets (and Jazz too) are crazy with their demands. Riley will tweak the roster at the trade deadline.

I’m sorry but Pat probably wouldn’t trade Bam for KD straight up

Lowry actually had somewhat of a "bounce back" regular season with us. His scoring dropped, which was to be expected on a team playing at the 3rd slowest pace in the league with 3 other guys scoring over 19 ppg

But even with the personal issues, he played his most RS games since 2019 (and was virtually tied with Herro for the team lead in mins played), highest TS% since 2017, highest assist rate since 2019, highest individual ORTG since 2018, and his 2022 WS/BPM/VORP all exceeded his 2021 numbers

Yes he's on the wrong side of 35 but in terms of mileage he's played fewer career mins than 29yo LeBron had when he left Miami in 2014. I'm optimistic an in-shape Lowry can be a valuable player for us this season

Perception of our players due to a couple guys getting hobbled in the postseason has been absurd. The worst part is that our own fans led the charge on establishing that perception.

Saucy Nuggets with bbq smoky flavor ***

Spoke to my dude, apparently it made it back to the team that Durant is furious heading into the meeting with ownership. He spoke to a couple high level players that he is close with to get their opinion. So ownership called his Agent sometime this week to preface the meeting.

They wanted Durant's agent to talk to Durant and explain heading into this meeting to come with a clear head, and expectations of coming back and playing. This meeting will not be about moving him to any desired destination or to talk about available trades scenarios. They want him to understand there is nothing in the market or offer remotely enticing them to trade him, also they will do what is right for the team above his needs. This meeting is more in line about future commitments and how to put the best foot forward into having a successful year ahead for the team, which they feel they can do. They want to make sure that Durant knows exactly what he is walking into, and to lower any expectations of him thinking this relationship is over on his terms.

He doesn't know if the meeting has already happened, but probably not since nothing has hit social media yet. He could either head into this meeting completely deflated and just accept that he is returning to the team even if its not on his terms, or this could get real ugly.

As I predicted. This was the plan from the start....field offers setup ridiculous "counters" and then say hey we tried. I knew what the deal was when they asked for Ant and KAT.

Russ in Utah would be unsightly, they'd need a float of picks for it to be justified

The Lakers had conversations about joining the Jazz and Knicks a few weeks ago in a potential three-team trade, league sources told HoopsHype.

The proposed three-team trade scenario included Westbrook going to Utah and getting bought out. Utah would send Donovan Mitchell to the Knicks, a combination of two players, including Patrick Beverley and Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic or Malik Beasley to the Lakers, and the Jazz would receive significant draft pick compensation from the Knicks and Lakers. The Knicks also would’ve had to part with veteran salary filler(s), such as Derrick Rose to help make the salaries work.

 Ainge gonna fleece and get 6-7 FRPs (4-5 from the Knicks and 2 from the Lakers)

And he's getting rid of some multi-year bigger contracts for a big Westbrook contract that they may be able to buy out and save more money while they tank.

We got catfished in this whole Durant saga. Durant clowned himself and will continue to clown himself with any threat of sitting out. He’s the one who signed that long term contract. Desperate hope traffickers will continue to push a narrative that Durant will force his way here by sitting out.

BK traded a first for Royce O’Neale with the intention of him being the dirty work guy in that starting lineup along with Durant, Irving, and Simmons. BK has a top 3 roster if all things come together. Durant is going to have to come public on why he wants a trade cause right now he’s losing credibility as every day goes by.

They are trading for him to buy him out. They want the picks from the Knicks and Lakers with a couple of cheap talents like Grimes and McBride. Lakers probably end up with Conley or Beverly, Bogdonovic, Clarkson, and another filler maybe Reddish.

Ship has sailed on that if it was even real to begin with. Collins has been hanging with Murray and Young this summer developing chemistry at these pro am’s.

My hope for a Duncan-Bogdonovic trade looking like chit with this rumored Lakers trade. Bogdonovic is a perfect fit with Lebron and AD. Down bad here
