Is this real? Is the new ownership for the Lakers demanding Lebron James out?

With Jimmy gone, Bam is probably the most versatile player we have now.
I wouldn’t get my hopes up, if Wiggins is still here Spo will be using Bam as a 3rd option at best and unless Mitchell takes a leap and/or KJ gets a lot of clock and is the real deal we won’t have someone to consistently get him the ball in good spots and make it a point of emphasis. It’ll just be a lot of iso

Re: 2025 Offseason Thread Vol.4
Heat won’t do it, but including Ware would probably put them in the drivers seat for LeBron. Ware and Wiggins become instant starters for LA with Lakers needing defense and a lob threat for Luka.

Re: 2025 Offseason Thread Vol.4
If the FO is really set on focusing on the young'ns, this is a massive roll of the dice on Miami's confidence. If these guys don't show they can be anything beyond rotation players, Miami will potentially preemptively ruin their chances at a big FA while simultaneously tanking the value of the prospects.

Barry’s article pretty much sums up what I said earlier about this offseason. We are stuck

Idk..what young player on this team projects to have a role that was going to be drastically different than what we otherwise thought? Can Jovic or JJJ (especially him) really sink any lower?

May I interest you in some FARTcoin?
How is it in spite of his own interests? He's making more now than he would have if we'd just cut him.
Duncan doesn't have the suitor without the S&T. Why is Duncan opting out? You're wasting so much time being upset about the biggest nothingburger I've ever seen.
Because his agent knew there was money out there for him. But as I explained above, it doesn't matter if he opts out or not. We would have saved as much or more by cutting him and offsetting his new minimum salary if he chose to go that route. Duncan did not have leverage.

I don't think it's a question of sinking lower, but if they can prove they have anything beyond rotation player talent. Jaquez will turn 25 in the middle of the season, so he's getting to "now or never". Ware and Jovic have more time, but if they don't make any significant improvements, what does Miami do with all these guys who (once again) don't show meaningful improvement? How much trade value will they have?
Of course, maybe we seem improvements from one or more of them, but if not it really leaves the franchise in a pickle, imo.

So if not to your liking, Wiggins and Rozier for LeBron and Bronny?

There we go!

You can't have one without the other.
