The Heat are trying to make moves. Whether or not they pan out is all together different. We can’t force teams to make deals.

Yeah windhorst is the guy getting good information this offseason, giving you the information he gets from his sources, which is probably coming straight from Teams mouth or players agents. I am giving you information based on what is internally happening that were seeing. The difference is I am not trying to leverage anyone. Most of the information I have been getting pretty on point and about a few days earlier than what the media puts out.

Just as much as I'm finding a hard time looking for a home for Lowry and Duncan that gets back anytype of draft pick asset I'm assuming the Heat have also hit a road block. Unless BK takes on Lowry and Duncan or takes back whatever we can get for them which are probably vets or similar bad contracts I don't know what else we can do. BK is probably better off just keeping him and letting him and Kyrie figure it out if they truly are boys.

Mitchell too New York at this point almost seems like a forgone conclusion considering the Jazz can pillage the Knicks for young cost controlled talent and not have to take back on any silly salaries or extension level players. Along with the projected boat load of picks the Knicks have in it's arsenal.

So it depends if KD is saying "OK we can try it for another year" or he says "I'm not wearing your uniform ever again and get me out of here".

If I'm the Nets I don't want that distraction in the locker room all season.
KD would've a new home by now if it weren't for the T-Wolves. They look more like a puppies now. Giving so much, gutting their team for a Rudy Gobert. What a bunch of idiots.

I know some of you like to bring up Dallas an ideal destination for Lowry and I understand that they just lost Brunson but in order for them to get Lowry they have to deal someone some bad salaries themselves. Who's paying the team taking on there bad salaries for Lowry? They also have Doncic as the current starting PG and have a healthy THJ returning. Dinwiddie will be coming off the bench at both guard spots. Let's say Dallas agrees to give up a pick who does that pick go too? We want it too go to BK but what's the compensation for Dallas having to dump Bertans and the other filler? It don't make sense for them. They are probably better off at this point signing Schroder who's close with Dirk to a mid level deal.

Minnesota did the NBA wrong and i think this wont get fixed until next offseason. It was amateur hour for them to trade all of that for Gobert.

And for what, gobert did not move the needle for the Timberwolves. I mean they could reach the WCF maybe, i still think memphis and golden state are better.. when you trade that much for a star you better make sure that the player will put you over the top..

Like Shaq did for Miami, or like Bosh and Lebron did when we gave up all those picks in S&T.

Just a clown organization and the other clown organization in New York may top them with a bigger clown trade. 8 first round picks would be insanity for Mitchell.

Like i said, expectations will be reset next offseason. GM’s need to sit down, talk this out, dont let the Knicks or Timberwolves in that conference room, and just be like hey, that was two poverty franchises doing what poverty franchises do.. lets stop devaluing the first round picks.

Barnes/Good Morris needs to happen if we strike out. I’m still shocked we are this far into the off-season and have a 205 pound “pf”. It’s ridiculous.

Got the feeling we'll end running it back, after missing on KD and Mitchell. We'll keep most of our assets and wait for another opportunity.

The question then becomes - should we give some assets (like a FRP or 2 + matching salary like Duncan) for a non-star whos an upgrade.

Like a John Collins or Barnes.

They will fine his ass, you dont think his reputation would be destroyed? He's not going to do that. They will bring back the gang for a year since it makes the most sense for everyone. Heck even if they decide to trade him near the trade deadline or in the draft that means player like Diopo are now tradable. You think they want Duncan? They can wait it out a few months easily.

NY with Mitchell makes sense in a Knick way.

If we dont get a star which looks unlikely right now, im more curious about who we will get for our PF and what assets it will cost us. Using an asset now means even less assets when another star come out or whenever the Nets decide to make moves.

I'm not sure how much longer the Heat want to keep waiting for at this point if a deal has not been made by this point. I understand not taking no for an answer but how do you keep letting these GM's string us along. They want what they want and if they haven't said yes to any of our offers at this point it's time to move the phuck on.

2 things:

1) As time continues to pass, It seems more and more likely that nobody will move.

2) This sausage fest of a forum really enjoy talking about the size of another man's d*ck. Its quite odd.

Didn't we have some meeting lined up today to start trading the smaller pieces for the assets we need?

If they trade KD they are going to stink anyway, so what difference does it really make?

We won’t do that, knowing those assets could land a plan B PF, unless we know for sure BKN will make the follow up trade with us

Yes, and they got permission to talk to Durant they want to know if he is committed to leaving or willing to stay. Miami won't be making changes to get assets if it does not lead to anything.

Return to Miami Heat
