out starting lineup isnt it, Plus we always seem to get a ton of injuries, so if we draft the right player he has a chance to crack the starting lineup at some point in the season. Centers and Point Guards have started early for us. Forwards, SG's not so much.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Outside of Top 5 not a single one of them boys has a chance to start on this team, let alone Spo letting him start from day one. Only way this is even a possibility if the team makes drastic changes and a couple of our current starters are not here anymore.

Nope, not unless there's an injury. Idk if there's anyone from this draft top to bottom that would start on the heat opening night.

Who's the last player the heat took without working them out or interviewing beforehand? Winslow?

Its hard to say, the only reason we know the Winslow fact, is because the Heat admitted to it. The Heat do not advertise all the players they workout, unlike Golden State, Portland and Indiana who make it part of their marketing tool and that is why it seems like they workout a lot more players than everyone which is not true.

It would be interestin how this case works itself out and how it will effect him in the draft. Its a weird case situation. Should he fall in the second and how teams who did their own investigation respond to drafting him

It should get dropped, looks like case of false identity. They have video evidence of another guy standing next to her, at the time and place she describe. Also no DNA from Terrence Shannon Jr on her body or clothing. No collaborating evidence from another person there stating that it was Shannon. She picked him out from an internet picture, she was 18 on a fake ID, something tells me she was under the influence and the other guy did this to her, but of course under the influence your not all there, not saying it did not happen, since they did find DNA of 5 other men on her thighs and buttocks. But shes saying it was him based on when her mind was more lucid. The DA is a headcase that doesn't let it go, he didn't want to drop it or use DNA evidence at pre trial, since he wanted this to get pushed through. Smells of some funky agendas going after this kid on purpose.

Edey, ranked No. 16 in ESPN's Top 100, is a dream target for playmaking guards to pair with in pick-and-roll actions. He sets wide, bruising screens at 7-foot-5, 298 pounds and is an outstanding mark rolling to the paint and catching everything thrown his way with his huge, magnetic hands and 7-foot-11 wingspan. Purdue's small guards would often throw the ball up in the general vicinity of the rim under duress and let Edey go catch it.

He understands the art of rescreening if his initial pick doesn't achieve the desired outcome, and has improved his ability to operate out of zoom actions/dribble-handoffs, catch-and-make decisions out of short rolls, or mix-in slips to keep defenses off-balance. Even if he doesn't catch the ball rolling to the basket (where he is absolutely devastating), the amount of gravity he attracts sucking in off-ball defenders tagging off shooters often creates wide-open corner 3s for teammates -- a big reason the Boilermakers shot 40% for 3 this season, the second-best rate in college basketball. -- Givony

I think they worked out and it was known that they worked out and interviewed Bam, Herro, Achuiwa, Jovic(Interviewed at Chicago combine and was scheduled for workout at FTX but got hurt before workout) and JJJ. Winslow was reported that we did not work him out and took him on blind Duke faith. Did not work out so well for us. Think we continue the trend of selecting the players we work out and interview. Here goes going back to 2020 that we worked out Precious and probably popped athletically in workouts but just didn't work out. He was the only true miss in the last 5 years besides Winslow.

Heat officially worked out Dillon Jones 6'6 235 stocky wing. Potential 2nd round sleeper. Has worked out for 15 teams already lol.

Tyler Smith also came in for a workout. He was also invited a 2nd time by the Blazers to workout so potentially locking himself into a top 15 pick with good workouts.
