Perhaps we dodged a bullet with Hayward. It's not like he was the missing piece to beat Cleveland. Boston isn't much better with him. I'm telling you, him and IT won't mesh well.

sounds like waiters wants to hear what other teams have to offer, have to believe we are trying to get him for 1 year and he just wants to bring a decent offer back to us. don't think he commits to anyone before giving us a chance to match if given a contract.

Rio couldn't come back at all last year. I don't trust anyone coming back from a torn achilles at full strength. Historically only Dominique Wilkins came back successfully or something like that. That's a mid-level exception deal MAX type gamble not a "big offer"![]()
Hell I wouldn't have given Gay a big offer even before his injury. His game is detrimental to team ball and what the current NBA is about. No team he's ever been a featured player on has ever gone anywhere.
is this you JAY?
yeah, never a big fan of GAY though he's hit some big shots and has tools to be a great player.

Lol it was 1am for me and I thought I'm going to go to sleep and miss the decision by an hour, I wake up at 8:30am and this **** is still going. I didn't know Gordon Hayward was the best player in the league, seriously what is this ****. Just pick Boston and be done with it mate.

Also I'm guessing Haynes reported accurate information, he still has his tweet up. Hayward at this put is just dragging a dudes reputation if he's really going to Boston. It's not a reporters fault that his own camp can't control his leaks.

The longer he takes the more likely he stays in Utah...fine with me, it's one of those if I can't have them sort of deals.

This whole saga also proves that Brian Windbag doesn't know anything and has zero sources in the NBA outside of Rich Paul.

I am pretty sure we would have heard at least a little something about JJ/Dion/etc if we were told we aren't in the running for Hayward. Not a peep...
Phuck this guy, lets move on already

Which is sad, because if he is really going to Boston. They are going to make sure we are weaker. They would tell Hayward to wait until we lose Dion or JJ. Then sign Hayward. Just like Wade took forever when going to Chicago and Lebron took forever going to Cleveland.

Please no to Rudy freaking gay. What would he provide this team? Just another ballstopping chucker who will take minutes from more deserving players. He just tore his Achilles FFS

Man that's messed up. Hayward camp said he was going Boston and Utah said they didn't know. Now we were eliminated last night and our camp said that they didn't know. **** this guy. No thanks. Don't need this kind of stress when his contract is up again.

The 30 mill per year didn't help too, something we'd get over it within 2 days tops.
