Wtf lol?!

Hell nah. Need to learn from Whiteside, JJ, Dion. Can't be paying these role players who put up numbers in contract years. They usually revert back to what they were prior.

I’ll say this, Brunson is a bucket and I think he has another level to reach based on his playoffs when Luka was out. I would be excited about this, at $30M though, that seems to be too much

I mean Dallas was interested in Lowry and they can sign and trade Brunson to Miami lmao

I actually trust Brunson to be honest. I watched a ton of Mavs games this season. He has that dog in him we like

This is exactly what it would be. I’d still like to follow this up with a move for a 4 if we do this

We have picks. Tanking teams don’t have expirings at the top of their list, they’re just nice to have and just so happened to find one from the Hawks that is only partially guaranteed

So would he start at the 2 guard or is he gonna come off the bench? I don’t think this pushes the needle for us. We need a 4 or a real scorer

He’s more of a 3/4. Probably starts for Pj.

Can he guard the 4? He’s only 6’6. And yes PJ is an outlier with his height

I would love to sign Jalen Brunson just so I could laugh at the Knicks. Then rescind the offer after they’ve spent all their money

So over the Knicks we offer the chance to compete, over Dallas we offer the ability to have the ball in his hands way more

Yea he’d be fine but I honestly don’t think it’ll happen

Right, it's possibly losing him for NOTHING (signs into NY's capspace) or get Lowry and possibly something else in a S&T.

For Miami it's basically replacing Lowry's salary with Brunson's for 2 years and then having him 2 more seasons.

I’d take Brunson since it would probably be a Lowry swap and it’d be amazing to screw over the Knicks.

But would prefer others first

Brunson averaged 22-5-4 in the playoffs this season. He dominated the Jazz and Suns

I’d be open to Lowry and a pick for Brunson. Can shoot the ball and he plays defense

Then we pivot to keeping Dipo and Pj (or S/T both if possible?) and sending Duncan and picks for a 4 like Barnes

If Miami can turn Lowry + an asset or 2 into Brunson, trading Butler would allow Miami to start its new era. You'd have your long term PG, SG, C with Robinson, Strus, Yurtseven, Jovic and whatever you get from the Butler trade... probably a bunch of picks and salary.

Im not a huge fan of Brunson.

Luckily for me, whenever we try to deal with Cuban, it doesn't work. Pat and him just don't get along.
