Same. If Andy is meeting with Marks it’s to go over all the scenarios cap wise. Possibly discussing deals in place to move Lowry and Duncan to other places and the assets coming back and how they fit on Brooklyn.

Could just be Andy catching up with an old friend....Marks played for the Heat (2001-2003)

Based on what were seeing on the market rates for Durant its quit possible Donovan fetches a bigger haul than Durant slimply based on age. Wouldn't put it passed Utah to ask for something ballpark of what they got for Rudy or no deal.

I have to admit. The dynamic of having a former Miami Heat player who played under Pat Riley in Sean Marks in these negotiations is pretty cool. A lot better then having to deal with Danny Ainge.

Ainge and Presti are the worst for the Heat. They are the opposite of the Heat in that they care mostly about draft picks. Of course Heat don’t, and therefore we don’t have a plentiful to trade.

We are stuck working with Presti because Thunder own some of our picks, but I don’t think working out a deal with Ainge is at all feasible. We just don’t have the draft capital he cares about. And this isn’t even mentioning the documented personal problems between the 2 of them.

Exactly, its like people are just hope pedaling at this point. Danny Ainge will demand a Kings ransom and he's in control of the situation for 4 more years. Knowing the NBA, how front offices work and how everyone including us ( Lowry and Herro 180 million dollars  ) makes questionable moves, he will most likely get his price. That's why we are looking at KD.

So right now the main get for Brooklyn is Tyler Herro and 3 1st round picks and whatever swaps we have to give them. Now comes what we can give them for Lowry and Duncan Robinson. Is Minnesota interested in dealing D'Angelo Russell for Lowry? Could make sense since Russell is on the the last year of his deal and Minny might want a vet PG like Lowry to make a serious playoff push with there bigs. Russell did very well in Brooklyn so a reunion could possibly be in order. Another landing spot for Lowry is with the Clippers reuniting him with his late night cookie buddy Leonard and Powell.

Could form a nice PG duo with Wall keeping them both fresh splitting minutes. What could be sent to Brookyn in that sort of package? Amir Coffey, Luke Kennard, and Reggie Jackson or Marcus Morris Sr and Reggie Jackson or Kennard also works. Duncan Robinson's contract is the tricky one since it's either going to take a big contract with the same amount of years in a swap or attaching an asset with him (Yurtseven). Some Rumblings that the Kings could be interested in Robinson. They have Richuan Holmes who's fallen out of place with the addition of Sabonis. He's a young big who could be a good fit starting on the Nets. Yurtseven would then slide in as the cheap replacement for Holmes as the backup. Just some brain storming on how this could all get done and all the possible moving parts.

Robinson, Yurtseven, Lowry, and Herro equal the exact same amount to Curry and Durant just a little FYI. Now I don't think Robinson and Lowry end up in Brooklyn but whatever assets the Heat can get for them from other teams will all be going back to Brooklyn. Lowry to the Clippers makes so much sense. Some of the assets they would want to get off of like Kennard, Morris Sr, and Jackson could all make sense for the Nets as they look to remain competitive.

I'm not considering Jovic an asset right now as if he's included in a deal will have to take like 27 days now for anything to be official. You don't want to have a waiting period like that and risk people changing there minds. Yurtseven on the other hands looks a bit fishy.
