Lowry for Powell and RoCo would be a really nice move for us.

So whats the move? Trading our expiring contracts for some quality players?

I think the organization will first try and dump Robinson and Oladipo(trade or stretch to save 6 million) and get under the first apron to use bird rights to resign Gabe Vincent and get back over the line. Once we are over the tax line again by a small fraction we will use the 6 million dollar tax MLE on a rotation player that will trigger the 2nd apron hard cap. Rest of the signings will be minimums. We will carry Lowry’s expiring into the season and see if a trade opens up and if not just let him expire and get some flexibility next year.

How much time we have to stretch and trade Duncan and Dipo contracts?

If we want to get anything done in free agency the sooner the better

I don’t see many options with dealing out Lowry right now. Much like Westbrook it’s a contract that becomes more valuable at the trade deadline. If nothing opens up he finishes out here and we get the cap relief next year.

But anyways back to the draft, think they took this guy because he’s ready now and it could be so much needed depth if we send a bunch of guys out for Dame and want to sign an bunch of vet minimum guys.

I truly love you so much for typing all that for me. As a 95% forum lurker, the only thing that's NOT entertaining on this hilarious forum, is the "forum police" that tries to tell everyone how to be a fan. This "Love every crappy move our franchise makes or you're unwelcome" is such BS.

I’ll be UD for the day. I’ll gladly take a fine (temporary ban) just to tell that guy off.

Just put him on the Foe list or discuss your issues in the PM. Keep it simple

As a general rule, I do not block people, but this guy gets on my damn nerves, so I will make an exception. Done deal.

Anyone getting a timeout should be forced to mod the player comparison or trades and transaction boards for a month to earn back their posting privileges. Lets see how they like dealing with crap.

Don’t know if this has been posted yet, can’t tell if it squeaked in somewhere among all the other bs posting going on. Seems like Portland is ready but it’s up to Dame to ask

Every few months I try to pare down my foes list figuring that time has passed, sure that whatever the issue I can't remember was is no longer a thing ... and every few months the same guys end up right back on the list. It's not 100%, but it's pretty damn close.

Here another trade idea to off load Duncan Contract and cap saving of 12.8m would include 1 or 2 of the second round pickups.
It provides us with a backup C option. I would love to see what others options you guys think can solve our Cap problem with some actual soluations.

Just remember, all those pikachus aren't for you. You have to share them with the other mods.

What I would give for a world where if someone disagrees with a decision this front office made, they would explain it, offer what they would have done as an alternative and why they believe that alternative would be better for this team.

But unfortunately Heat fans gonna Heat fan.

I don’t have a dog in this fight but here’s an example from last night. I would’ve traded 18 back to the rockets for 20 and additional 2nds or cash or something (maybe use the cash to buy a 2nd) so the Rockets could get their guy Whitmore who still ended up falling to them and the Heat still could’ve drafted the same dude.

Dame can go down as a loyal Blazer and thats fine. Totally cool. If he wants to have a contender arpund him, it aint PLand. Franchise cant play both sides. Id move him for the best deal at the deadline. Smaller market than PLand is gonna want tho.

Teams with cap space and could be good trading partners- Det, Hou, Ind and Sas. Orl, Ut, Okc, Mem, Atl, King and Tor as possible trading partners. What trade could improve us while we wait to see what pans out on the Damin Lillard front.
