They have a strong rotation of bigs. Can't envision PJ or Woods signing there, due to the lack of sufficient playing time to showcase for a potential bigger contract. Stranger things have happened though.

And this is precisely why you don't sell the farm even for Dame....go back even three years, and BOS wouldn't have hesitated in bring him back but the second tax apron makes it extremely difficult to keep cores together. Gotta have a revolving door of up and comers you can have at value & a good stock of draft picks you can use for same or flip for a superstar should opportunity present itself.

They don't have it there a taxplayer team and 3.3m below the 2 apron. There 5m taxplayer exception would go way if they hit that 2 apron. So they do have 5 mil exception but there cutting it close
