Glad Jaime could get a couple rookie of the month awards while he had the chance

Kyle Lowry, what a leader.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a regular starting PF in the NBA in the last half decade (maybe more) I wouldn't take ahead of Highsmith. The lack of even giving a **** about PF not only hurts Miami's starting lineup but it also weakens the rest of the rotation by players out of position at PF or having to guard up.

Crowder for a half a year and Tucker for a year. Bam’s had to deal with so much instability at that position since he’s been here. Clownish for a franchise that’s had a great history of the PF being a foundational piece to the team. They think everyone is Battier who was actually 6’8 230 and Lebron 6’9 240. That was our small ball PF rotation but really not small at all lol

Somewhat true about Tucker but he was signed as an afterthought, he was basically all that was left on the market. Miami's even wasted a pick on Precious with the hope of him being Bam lite as the backup 5 vs addressing the PF position or signing the best player available (Maxie), there was never a thought he would play alongside Bam. It's crazy how little they care about adding a PF that would be considered a starter by just a few teams in the league. Even if you think Spoelstra wants to go with small ball, the FO can put a quality 4 on the roster which would basically force Spoelstra to move a little away from small ball but instead they just refuse to address that issue.

They need to hire someone for the G-League who will develop 7 Footers that can play defense. It feels that the G-League only develops Guards, lately.

Honestly what we need to do is stop being so reliant on G leaguers in general lol enough is enough. You can have a couple but it feels like we roll out several each game, the talent gap is just too big to overcome a lot of the time.

I’d take him, but he’s not as good as Grant

What do you think the defining difference between Grant and Hunter?

There aren't many players that fit this mold, In my heart there is a universe where we go all in this year and go get Lauri Markakken next to Bam. Terry, Duncan, Jimmy, Lauri, Bam as our starting lineup up.

Grant is the overall better scorer, he’s a better shooter, and passer as well.

Size wise I will say I didn’t know they were so close, Grant is 6’7 210 with a 7’3 wingspan and Hunter is 6’8 225 with a 7’2 wingspan.

I like that Hunter is 4 years younger though and wouldn’t mind getting him.

That would be awesome, unfortunately he’s untouchable they say.

DFS and Royce fit that mold so I’m sure the Mavs will be talking to the nets

No the hell he did not. Looks ridiculous. I hope that is AI generated.

He seemed to still be wearing it on the flight (near the end of the video).

This is why all the talk was funny to me in the 2022 ECF when we struggled to score or last years playoff run when we struggled and Herro fans would come out of the woodworks saying how bad we needed him because the team can’t score without him. He doesn’t help

Listening to the Basketball Collective Podcast, seems that Rich Paul (Klutch) was meeting with Leon Rose recently after not really contacting him for years to possibly have future dealings with them, could the same thing have happened with Riley? There are multiple reasons why it may happen now, as in putting out a feeler of who may be willing to draft Bronny since LeBron wants to play with his son or even putting pressure on the Lakers (that he could opt out this summer) to make a move since this was happening pretty close to the deadline.

Good lord this dude is unreal, imo this is the one guy Jimmy wants no parts of in the playoffs but maybe he steps up to the occasion and cancels him out. That would be a very fun Finals if we had Mitchell someone added to the team

He’s talking to the Knicks not too us. The relationship strain with Knicks is no where near what happened between Riley and Paul. I believe the Knicks are in talks about trading for Brogdon and apparently there was a little bit of an agent rivalry going on between the two that there trying to look past. Lebron is not coming here
