There's this new reality drama series called Trouble In Paradise and it's set in Miami. The plot centers around a Herro trying to save the day amid growing turmoil between the faction's old leader and a traitor who turned his back on his people to chase the money. Who will blink first? Can we be saved? I've been hooked on this new show but not sure when the finale will air, I'm hoping by this next week. Stay tuned!

Dexter Original Sin just started with like 5 episodes and is pretty good as well...

I just finished binge-watching Trouble In Paradise. It ends with the old leader putting a hit on the traitor, but he hired an overpaid, undersized assassin with butterfingers and a 45.6% shooting percentage. You can guess what happened next.

Been saying this. No clue how he keeps falling out of the rotation

It's just Spo tinkering. He does this every year, but I agree, Burks looks like a rotation player to me.

I'm holding out hope that the Bam-Ware minutes will start getting sprinkled in in the back half of the season in spurts.

We know that the Heat are resolute with following their developmental timelines for young bucks. I imagine each of Bam and Ware's playing styles will need to be tweaked for their minutes together--especially initially. The Heat typically like to have their big men develop with the fundamentals first before expanding/shifting their focus (probably don't want them to develop bad habits or skimp doing some of the things they need them to be able to do as second nature as the big man). So, I'm not surprised we haven't seen it yet. I'd guess Bam takes up a lot of the big man duties that the Heat want Ware struggling and growing thru if they're on the floor together.

I think back to the Yurt days. Year 1 there was not even talk of Bam and Yurt on the court together from the Heat. Y2 there was supposedly talk and intention to implement that, but then Yurt went down with ankle injury and needed surgery and that was the end of any potential experiment there. Ware is a different specimen than Yurt entirely and Bam is at least shooting some 3s now, so I think we should expect a similar progression (albeit expedited).

Bam was on a heater in the 2nd and checked in at the 9 minute mark, I saw Ware coming up to the scorers table with like 4:30 left in the quarter and thought for sure we were about to get Bam/Ware for 4 minutes to close the half, instead he subbed in for Bam, super random considering Bam almost always plays until halftime and he was cookin. Rotations were weird last night, I think he was just trying to get Bam and Herro some much needed extra rest

My guess is if Miami gets an offer it will accept, they'll present that to Butler and his agent and say this is the team we have a deal with. It's this or nothing.

Butler is doing a lot of posturing because, at the end of the day, he has three options barring a big salary dump by a team that wants him:

1. opt out and pray Brooklyn pays him, otherwise he'll be taking a pretty massive pay cut
2. opt out and hope Miami will agree to S&T him to the team he wants to go to
3. opt in to secure his $52M and continue to demand a trade

In 2 of 3 cases, Miami holds the cards, especially given Butler would run into salary limits due to the over-38 rule.

Do yourself a favor - watch Severance of you haven't already. Less action packed not incredibly cool and it's next season starts this month.

As the loudest drum banger of PG Jovic or POVIC. Once he got some freedom and started to get comfortable again the passing and vision is there. He just needs to be able to play through some mistakes and get that rhythm back.

Plus you see that rage and head slapping after the miss. Homie has that vibe you need to be great. Self Hatred fuels his soul...

Bam said in post game that Jovic has a longer leash than he realizes. Spo said he's seen growth from him but wasn't looking to jinx it so he didn't want to talk about it.

He is implying what I meantion a few days ago. There is off court obligation of players to get involved in especially as a star to the team. Butler doesn't get involved. He is pretty much absent and leaves Bam and Herro doing these things. It's one of the reasons Bam has become the captain. Outside of basketball Butler is very non compliant. The heat have allowed Butler to do as he pleases. Butler media day hair thing is a hint to the public of how Butler is very flippant about the non basketball aspects. It's not just Butler being a comedian. Being a face figure on and off the courtvis usually part of your contractual agreement, but at some point the Heat are saying this is not going be allowed at 37 yrs old if you want to be the highest paid player on the team. It's the same issue the Heat had with Lowry. Lowry and Butler became a tandem that was really flippant on representation of the organization outside of the court. As an example if an organization wants to partner with the Heat they want to know will Butler be involved or all they getting is Dedmon or Orlando Robinson. Shaq Wade and Lebron was great representation off court for the Heat
