Don’t think the Arison’s would have allowed him to trade Duke’s golden boy on that value contract. Paul mentioned this about the apron’s and taking on too much high salary. That’s when he said the Mavs are not trading Flagg for Giannis.

I think Pat keeps Flagg and goes extra extra hard (no diddy) for KD in that scenario.

All trolling aside You do have to wonder why Giannis would want to go west compared to the East whose best team is already out of it for next year. With AD you have to wonder if he would want waste a year with Kyrie out next season and if his ultimate goal is to win why not try to go out east too?

Not even pertaining to the Heat but they’re legitimate questions.

I would highly believe by this weekend the Mavs and AD will make a decision.

I'd say nico thinks AD trade value is sky high.
AD Flagg klay pjw and some dude like tyus Jones is enough to keep mavs in playoffs race. And kyrie will be back for the playoffs. Nba athlete with an autograft ACL with top notch recovery and doctors, youre back in 9-12 months max. I think they're keeping Flagg and business as usual.

First reaction. Holy eff nba is rigged. Obvious compensation for getting Luka to LAL.

But if you think about it. Dallas is never even in the lottery if Kyrie doesnt tear his ACL. They wanted to compete and they had a decent roster, still 1-2 guys short in terms of depth like GSW. So how could this have been promised to DAL?

I think Nico effed up terribly and got bailed out in the most insane way possible. And it's amazing for the NBA to get Luka to LAL and Flagg to a top 5 market to revive that heart broken fan base.

Rich Paul and Nico are close apparently. Highly doubt Davis is going anywhere and definitely not cheap after being the core piece in the Luka deal.
