So apparently Harden wants a deal done to Philly today. How will we counter, or will we even counter? Harden-Embiid is the best duo in a league now going through the dynamic duo era. Unless I’m forgetting someone they’re the best SG/C duo in the league since Wade-Shaq lol. If harden didn’t always get hurt or choke in the playoffs (Embiid kind of does too) I’d be pretty worried but new situations can bring the best out of them so you never know.

I personally think we need to attach Duncan, Morris, Yurt and picks and see what the best available player we can get is. Either that or send Duncan and a 1st for Morris Sr. And yurt and someone to the hornets for Washington to fill the 2 holes on this team.

Playoff series against the Harden Sixers and Duncan is getting absolutely fried

I think he starts while we keep Tucker fresh off the bench

I'm not really worried about Philly considering they'd probably be giving up their best perimeter defenders in the deal. Brooklyn and Milwaukee are still the only teams I worry about.

Noel would help the Raptors.

When you invest so much in a player it is with the intention that he be a starter. Are we going to replace him in the playoffs with a player you already had making a third of his salary? If that's the case, don't trade for that player.

Brooklyn worries you? They seem terribly media manufactured. Losing JA took away a key component from their chances at making noise. They don't have enough tangibles or intangibles to beat quality teams in my eyes.

That's a lot to give up for the Sixers. Simmons massive devaluation really hurts this trade for Philly.

Nah grant will remain the starter and Tucker will have fresh legs

I don’t think the Heat really do anything here. It won’t matter if Riley gets Spo a PF because Spo won’t play him.

Spos big man tendencies leave a lot to be desired. He really isn't a fan of putting a guy on the floor who isn't a stretch big. It's pretty nauseating tbh.

Don't worry though, once Yurt starts popping threes like he's Omer Curry then we will see him get more PT.

Spo does like the 3 ball, but he also likes positionless basketball and Yurt doesn’t have the ability to switch off and man up on a guard on defense. Nor does he have anything but limited passing skills. I’m not knocking Yurt, he has other talents. He’s just not a Spo guy.

With that being said, Spo’s ideal PF is probably McBob (Josh McRoberts for those who weren’t around for those years of misery).

If nothing gets done and we’re just buyout players. Sign Thad Young, if Gogi gets traded and bought out, release Morris and bring back the Dragon.

Stacked!

Lol I bet those picks going to the Knicks are the Lakers. Lebron is not only trying to destroy the Lakers in the present, but fans for years to come will not understand why their team is so bad and miss the glory days of Lebron.

It depends on the package they get from Philly. If they can get Curry, Thybulle, and Simmons thats a good mix of defenders and a shooter to add with KD. They wouldnt be invincible but we would need Bam to play up his capabilities because thats the only matchup we have a decisive advantage.

Grant Could reach another level in our system IMO, he was overqualified as the 5th option in Denver, and was under qualified as the first option In Detroit.

Here he can find a sweet spot as the second/third option, play aggressive but not overdo it.

Grant also learns from Jimmy and take pressure off of him, we'll have 2 strong interchangeable big wings that can really defend up and down, score and while Jimmy is the better passer while Grant is the better shooter.

I'm all on board the Grant train, guy will be a game changer here. He's Jimmy 0.8.
