If Miami can turn Lowry + an asset or 2 into Brunson, trading Butler would allow Miami to start its new era. You'd have your long term PG, SG, C with Robinson, Strus, Yurtseven, Jovic and whatever you get from the Butler trade... probably a bunch of picks and salary.

The team is not trading Jimmy so you can stop trying to make that a thing, or at least move it to the fantasy thread

Any sign and trade hardcaps the team receiving the signed player. Its the reason we were hard-capped last season (Lowry sign and trade).

Not really sure how the Heat are even linked to that Brunson rumor lol, makes zero sense for either party. Brunson wants a bigger role. Heat can't afford that either - and as much as I wouldn't hate getting off Lowry's deal I don't think it's worth shaking things up for Brunson like that.

If Herro is leading our team in shot attempts and usage we can afford to give Brunson a bigger role than he has in Dallas
