I was down for John Wall years ago, now I’d rather a Dunn, Wright or DSJ. At least they’ll all provide elite defense.

Bam is 89th out of 100 centers when it comes to baskets he’s assisted on with only 2 guys below him worth mentioning in Embiid (1% less) and Randle (6% less but an iso ball hog). Needs to change with an elite guard addition this summer.

If Jimmy wants to be traded, there would be plenty of contenders who would be suitors.

I'm not convinced Jimmy actually wants to be traded though, nor am I convinced that we want to trade him.

Would be very aggressive by the FO. We are not a trade up in the draft organisation in general.

My guess is we'd be targeting Detroit's pick at 5, or perhaps Charlotte at 6, with a view on trying to get any of Reed Sheppard, Stephon Castle or Devin Carter.

One would assume. Something like Herro and 15 for Stewart, Fournier and 5?

Pistons could sell it by getting a scoring 2 to pair with Cade, and still picking up a quality talent at 15 (e.g. if Dillingham falls).

Heat sell it by getting a bruiser PF/C to work alongside Bam and Jovic, Fournier is salary but atleast brings 3pt shooting depth, and 5 nets us Castle/Carter/Reed if they're on the board.

If the Heat trade up, it would 100% be for Devin Carter. Was watching an interview of his where he mentioned Spo attending some of his games in high school and also mentioned Jimmy and Lowry attending his games last year at Providence. Everyone in the organization loves him and he used to train all the time at the Heat facility when Anthony Carter was an assistant coach. Probably the most Heat player in the draft and would be a fan favorite day right out of the gate.

No doubt the Heat would love to take Castle but all signs point to the Spurs taking him #4 (assuming the Hawks take Risacher #1), so they'd have to trade into the top 3 to get him and the price would be pretty steep. I really don't think Miami makes a trade in the draft but if they do it'll probably be more in the 9-13 range to get someone they love there.
