Can Detroit absorb Herro and send us some assortment of assets and one of THJ or Stew and then we add Derozan?

I feel like Demar ends up somewhere on the west coast. He's also from LA and spoke about wanting to play there in the past if I remember correctly. I know he'll definitely talk to Lowry about playing here. Just don't know how those conversations will go.

If we get Derozan, Jimmy and Bam are 100% increasing their 3 point volume which will obviously help the team and spacing but I also think prolong Jimmy’s prime

DD with 24 PPG on 17 shots a game. That's good.
We could legit make him our number one option here.

Random. Why did Bryant exercise his option? Where is he going to get a better deal from? Not that I wanted him to stay but I'm just curious.
Bryant probably sees the writing on the wall, he fell out of the rotation with 35 year old Love there, there's no chance with Ware on the team

Rozier
Derozan
Jimmy
Jovic
Bam
Or by the end of the season (hopefully if Ware fast tracks his development and shooting)
Rozier
Derozan
Jimmy
Bam
Ware.
Not a fan of the lack of spacing in either of these lineups.

Re: Miami Heat Offseason Thread Vol. 3: Fraudfather Snoozin
As much as I'm bummed that we'll unlikely be acquiring a star this summer, I'm also pretty excited to see the continued internal growth of our team.
- Can Jovic continue improving and take the next step as he's transitioned into a permanent full-time starting PF role? As a starter (22mpg) he averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds per game on 46/40/71 shooting splits. What can he average playing 30mpg next season?
- Will JJJ improve his outside shot? He shot 32% from three and averaged 12ppg. He's also a positive defender and offensively he's a good finisher in the paint and a smart passer. Last season he was averaging about 15ppg before hitting a rookie wall + suffering from injuries.
- Can Kal'el Ware have instant impact (the same way Herro and JJJ had in their rookie seasons), or will he be more of a longer term project (like Jovic)? Can he move his feet defensively well enough for Spo to trust him? Will his shot actually translate to the next level?
- Can Bam continue improving his outshoot shot? For the past 4 consecutive years in a row Adebayo's FG% has dropped. Can an improvment in offensive scheming and continued offseason work help elevate Bam's scoring to the next level?
- Can Herro revitalize his career? Just 2 years ago he was coming off of a ROTY award and looked as if he could be a major contributor on a championship team. Can he become a smarter, more efficient offensive player through offseason work + improved offensive scheming? Can he continue to get stronger and become a better defender? Will he be willing to accept a bench/6th man role?

For Miami, why wouldn't they look to do a S&T for DeRozan? Maybe Miami could get him on a 1+1 or 2+1 (team options) to give them some options in the future.

If we acquire Derozan a swap of Rozier for D'Lo might be beneficial to both teams. Not sure of the contracts and all that but just a surface look.

On cheap contract, there’s no real downside to getting derozan
Just that he’s a round peg in a square hole on this team

DeRozan is a month older than Jimmy and a free agent.

I know a place where round pegs are welcomed

Re: Miami Heat Offseason Thread Vol. 3: Fraudfather Snoozin
The only way I see Demar fitting on the team is if he's the number 1 option and everyone else focuses on defense and shooting. I hope we wouldn't be giving away too much, especially regarding our shooters.
