I feel for their fans. I cant imagine watching everything fall apart like that.

They had such hope.

Are we not going through a similar situation? Two finals appearances last five years and now facing the abyss.

We're not even close. Suns outlook is the worst in the league. This team is WAY better than the team we added Jimmy to in terms of an actual rebuild. We have most of our assets, have 2nd and 3rd option and clearly need a point guard. As DWade said someone is definitely going to take the 300m and live in Miami.

If we trade for Fox and sign a first round pick, what space do we have left for 26 offseason?

I thought I read someone on here posted if the Heat are in lottery for 2025 draft the pick guys to OKC?

But, it looks like the 2025 pick is top 14 protected and the 2026 is unprotected. So basically...

2025 pick: If Heat miss playoffs and in lottery, Heat get the pick. If Heat make playoffs then OKC gets the pick.
2026: If Heat get their 2025 1st round pick the 2026 pick goes to Thunder regardless of if it is in the lottery or not. If Heat's 2025 1st round pick goes to Thunder then Heat will keep their pick regardless of whether lottery or not.

Is this correct?

If we make playoffs pick goes to OKC. If we don’t pick converts to OKC unprotected 2026 then forwards hornets 2027 to 2028 unprotected.

So, worst case scenario is Heat being in the lottery this year and keeping the pick. Then next season being one of the worst teams in league and having a top 3 pick going to OKC.

Best case is Heat make playoffs this year. Pick goes to OKC. And Heat keep their 2026 pick regardless of making lottery or playoffs.

Weve been teetering on the mid line of the first round for a decade. I doubt we need worry much about giving up a top 3 pick.

We are going to win 40ish games a year with this squad. If we nail another draft pick and add a star, we righted the ship and could win 50 plus for plenty of years.

The Suns owner grew up near Detroit. I’m sure he knows some people who would very happily stick Brad Beal in the trunk of a ‘69 Lincoln Continental and drive him where the Suns need him to go.

But if you get Fox during this next summer it's probably better for locking up Niko sooner rather than later. He's gonna get a good offer.

But if you get Fox during this next summer it's probably better for locking up Niko sooner rather than later. He's gonna get a good offer.

Yea that's kinda holding true with the thoughts pre-draft--no real top tier. Lots of potential role players/decent players sprinkled thru.

Ware always had one of the highest upsides. He's just showing his floor and baseline was underestimated.

The big hurdle with SGA and Luka is the supermax
