I would like that and then if it doesn’t work blow it up.

Guys off the bat I see interested in us if we land KD:

Harden
Kyrie
AD
LeGOAT
Derozan
Jrue

Lebron finishing his career in MIA has always been an intriguing idea to me

So Tyler gets on a podcast and gives a shout out to Durant and we suddenly get on top of the destination list. Herro taking the lead in recruiting.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

I think it'll take one more piece, whether a 1st, a swap, Anderson, Jaquez -- potentially with him going to Brooklyn for one of the Suns' picks back or at least with some protections added -- because of the potential offers from Houston/San Antonio.

Miami's offer has to get Phoenix under the 2nd apron, imo.

Would Phoenix actually want a declining, meh player like Gobert for ~$40/m a season? I just have a hard time seeing Minnesota coming up with a really good offer. Houston can put together a good offer, but they'll hold back their best youngins. Sheppard showed very little last year and Whitmore isn't a clearly better prospect than Jaquez.

im not 100%, but I think dealing for Duncan gives them exactly what they want because of the nature of his deal.

Wiggins, Duncan and #20 would be excellent for us.

From a perspective standpoint GSW gave up Wiggins, Anderson, Schroeder(expiring), and 20th pick for Butler. Riley tried offering Butler and J Rich for Durant swap so he felt the values of Butler and Durant were fairly similar. I believe rumors of Suns wanting Jovic and us not putting him in came out that led us to just taking the GSW offer.

Also worth noting that GS ostensibly was close enough to trading for Durant that Durant had to nix the trade. That likely means Phoenix would take a package similar to what Miami accepted for Butler.

I think this is in line, and I think you can expect Ware to be moved, along with the remaining draft capital for another needle mover. I also think you get Russ in here too on the minimum, we will need another big on the cheap go get Whiteside

But ideally you run Bam at the 5 with KD at the 4

The idea of a lineup like

Davion
Herro
Highsmith
KD
Bam

Is very interesting with two true scorers and 3 elite defenders

I don’t see Ware getting moved in the KD deal I think he gets moved in the follow up. A KD move puts Miami in the conversation if not the drivers seat in the East, another move can put them over the top and offer a 2-3 year window to go get it. With Pat now in his 80s the time to get the last one and ride off into the sunset has arrived. Riley to me has earned the right to go all in with everything on the table for his final run with the franchise he built. A 4th ring would without a doubt be the sweetest.

The key is always under the mat. I do wonder if LeBron really wants to finish it out in LA. They aren’t contenders and don’t have a way to significantly improve the roster. He’s going to just fold on his last 2 years of basketball?

He’s always gotten out of places when the time was right, I find it hard to believe he’s not going to do it now.

Jovic, Ware, Rozier, and Anderson accounts for 45 million dollars this and two firsts could be what Miami has to offer in a follow up move. Pretty strong package that could yield an all star level player

BK is going to get involved in this deal taking on Duncan’s contract with all that cap space. Just makes sense they take a couple of 2nd rd picks and keep building there stash. Suns are not going to carry that dead money.

Watch everyone cry about how bad our offer is. Some of these people are so delusional in the made up proposals for the other teams i can see why they are all backing out.

Read on Twitter

None of these made up proposals are realistic expect for the Heat’s

No the Suns will want Duncan’s contract because they can waive his partial guarantee and get under the 2nd Apron. Duncan’s contact is specifically very valuable to the Suns in an ironic twist.
