The thing is, the Heat won’t think twice if the Bucks request Bam in a Giannis trade. However, is Giannis willing to come to a Bam- less Heat?
That’s the million dollar question.

Seems like this could drag out but we’ll see. The more they lose, especially while he’s out the next 4 weeks, the further they’ll get from the playoffs and he won’t want to waste a season of his prime. We’ll see though, might last until the summer

He's definitely gone. Its just a matter if its before the deadline or during the offseason.

Agreed, kind of odd there’s apparently this meeting going to happen where he’s supposed to ask out but then Chris is also reporting this. He’s probably going to ask them to make trades and then they’re going to have to tell him they don’t have the assets to do it and eventually will lead to both sides realizing it’s best to part ways

The funny thing is this is exactly the Jimmy and his agent's playbook, at least in terms of downplaying the meaning of anything... Jimmy lied in every interview, his agent went out to challenge Shams as a professiona and interestingly enough similar to Bucks fan base a lot of us here were also calling Shams and media a liar because we believed Jimmy's lying ass mouth. The big takeaway from the whole charade is that players and agents lie to the point of being unethical to accurate reports. Media is an easy target but Sham's is credible. Some of us learned the hard way.

The other thing that Giannis strategically snuck in there was that he mentioned his mentality about walls, but then gave the caveat that what the FO "decides to do" is out of his hands as if he isn't directly involved with every decision. It's all just posturing and preserving positive optics until he's moved.

The issue with the Bam/Ware pairing (the issue isn’t the pairing I just posted the numbers, Greg has posted the numbers several times, and I believe even Timmy has as well) is the fact that Spo wants Bam to play center because he thinks his versatility at center does a lot for the team and it’s hard to argue due to the several deep playoff runs with Bam at center. Ware is strictly a center, so in order for them to play together Spo is going to have to play Bam at a position he doesn’t feel is best for the team but the numbers say the pairing is elite so it seems we just need to wait on Spos breakthrough in seeing this. Unfortunately last night Ware didn’t do himself any favors.

Giannis is a PF, he has never been labeled as a center. This allows Spo to play Bam at the position he wants to play him at. If we land Giannis there is no question who the starting PF/C duo will be

Yep and Chris Haynes is also related to Giannis wife so I’m sure there’s some extra meaning behind what Giannis is having Chris put out there

Wiggs would be amongst the league leaders in turnovers if assigned to regular pg duties.

Wiggins as a point guard could be misconstrued as trolling.

Not his bag bondiga.

Actually good news. Contusion is usually just pain tolerance and not reflective of a tear or anything structural that could worsen. Let him rest and come back next week like nothing happened.

never knew about this

prob would of ended in a dumpster fire over riles practices lol

This almost definitely would've been during the 06-07 season. I'm curious what our package would've been, prob not just UD, maybe UD, Dorell, Antoine to match salary, and a pick? I don't even remember what they got from Denver.

That definitely would've ended poorly. Also I guess you gotta include J-Will in the deal since he doesn't fit on that squad. So what are we running, Iverson/Wade/Posey/something/Shaq? Yuck. Not sure exactly when he went to Denver but its possible Wade dislocating his shoulder saved us from that fate.

Iv said this multiple times on here and I know people seen it, but no one responds when I say it. Iverson was almost a Heat, Pat and AI spoke about the professional expectations to play for the Heat and they couldn't come to an agreement.

Leonard has one more year on his contract. Yeah you do it.

A frontcourt of Bam, Wiggins and Leonard, is scary as hell.

He cant be the lead guy. He must be just a complementary piece. That can lead at times throughout the year. So the offense and the team cant be built around him. Also, there has to be an trust and truce in him dealing with his FAMILY business.

But looking at the contracts, I am not sure its doable. Even if Rozier was tradable.
