Not very optimistic, to be honest. Whatever happens, happens. Celtics and Heat are both going to be fine after he chooses. Right?

I think it's down to Miami or Boston honestly.. not to come on your board and flame y'all but you need him more than Celtics do. I would love for us to get him though. We will still be fine if not. You guys need him if you wanna make some noise in the playoffs. Good luck either way!

I don't know, man. I would have been happy signing Waiters & James Johnson. If we get Hayward, fine, but we have good young players too that need rotation time.

I think Hayward is staying in Utah. Both of us were being used to guarantee his max. He'll get it and his buddy Jingles got a good deal too. :-)

For my part, I found two Celtic fans that love horror stories. I got a Lovecraft interview and some cool Cthulhu gifs. I win.

Whether or not we get Hayward, we definitely need to consider adding Tyreke Evans to our squad.

Tyreke Evans is the perfect next reclamation project that we need to take a chance on. I'd give him the MLE. He's looking good too.

We have only the room mle (about $4M.) I agree he would be good if we can sign him for that deal.

Ryan Anderson, Quarterman, and Onuaku for Carmelo works. Good trade for both teams. No picks.

Not really in the mood to go over there and sort through the nonsense. Can you give some examples?

Would love Miami to add Tyreke Evans, but knowing the NBA someone will dish out 10 million to him. I'd sign him and play him in his natural position at point guard, obviously he'd be our backup with some spotty minutes at shooting guard. But we already have Dragic, Richardson, and TJ, so I don't really see any room for him.

Also I like the JJ Reddick signing for Philly. But why wouldn't they offer the same deal to Dion Waiters, he's young, hungry, from Philly, fits right into their age profile and potentially could have signed him for less than they had to give Reddick.

Woj seems a bit sideways since the promotion. May wind up being Shams who delivers word in the next day or two.

Assuming JJ is signed and Waiters goes to LA:

PG - Dragic
SG - Richardson / TJ / Ellington
SF - Winslow / McGruder
PF - ? / Johnson
C - Whiteside / Adebayo / UD

So we could choose to bring back Babbitt at the 4, and look to add a backup PG. however, we seem to not be keen on adding backup PGs the past few seasons and opting for combo guards instead.

Depth options at the 4 and 3 would probably be it. Not sure who would fit the bill? Would rather go for large 1yr deal to keep space for 2018 if we strike out on Hayward.

Amazing how interested the Lakers get with our players after we turn them into ballers. Whiteside last year and Waiters this year. Where was the interest before they joined Miami?

I'll be man enough and be the first to admit it. If we finish the off season without Blake Griffin(already out of the picture) or Hayward I'll be in a mild depression when I think of NBA
