Forbes today also comes out with an article saying we need a 3rd team to make this work. Smh.

We traded Grant, which means we are rebuilding. He was basically the only good player that was ''underpaid''
We could still be decent with Dragic though but don't think the goal is to compete
I kinda wonder if OKC traded Grant with the idea that Gallinari plays PF or maybe acquire(in the Westbrook deal) a cheaper guy to replace him, like Derrick Jones Jr.
I think we may end up playing him at the 4. I wish we trade him at the deadline though (if he isn't injured
Wish we could trade Schroeder because I hate him but he has negative trade value so...

If Riley pulls off keeping the young core one of the benefits to keeping Winslow (disregarding offensive fit) is that team could put out a monster versatile situational defensive lineup of
Westbrook
Winslow
Jimmy
DJJ
Bam
Westbrook is the weak link there but I think one of the easier transitions would be for him to adhere to our defensive principles. Regardless, his athleticism alone allows him to be a defensive playmaker as can be seen by his occasional highlight reel blocks and high elite steals per game average.

When we got Jimmy the first thing I thought of was him and Playoffs Winslow.

Wonder if Mia has remained in contact with Washinton regarding Beal during their Westbrook courtship.

You clearly haven’t been checking into our summer league I’m assuming?
Maten is no where near NBA ready. Replace him with DJJ

Well, outside of Ibaka, Presti has not been very good at drafting outside the lottery. His reputation lives off the Durant/Westbrook/Harden lottery drafts.
What?
Reggie Jackson 24th
Adams at 12 was a nice pick later in the lottery
Ibaka at 24
T.Ferguson 21st
Evan way back trading the 26th pick for Thabo Sefolosha was a nice move.
Yeah since 2013 (Adams at n°12) the best pick we had was the 14th. All others were 20+ so it doesn't help.
We will see now...
Right, that late in the draft he did what he should do, try to find a cheap rotational player(roleplayers) or take a chance on potential as he did with Perry Jones at 28. A lot of people thought OKC stole C.Payne at 14, little did we know that all he seemed to care about was before, during and after games. Evan in Chicago he was dancing on the sidelines, probably a big reason Butler seemed harsh towards the younger players there.
I can't believe New York hasn't just given Sam Presti a blank check. He's don't an incredible job, who knew after losing KD for nothing that OKC would just replace him eventually with Paul George and now all those assets from the George trade.

DJJ was one of our best rated defenders last season. He can also guard 1-4. If his 3 point shot improves he has serious value to a team, not to mention his age. There's a reason they didn't panic and just ship him to the Mavs.

Can see Russell reclaiming GOATbrook status in Miami.

If this is the article that you're referring to:
https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article231883128.html#storylink=moresection
But indications are the Heat would prefer not to include Bam Adebayo or Herro.
BasketballRehab posted that info the day before:
I'm not defending the guy. In fact, I put up a disclaimer.
I really don't see the harm in any of this. I think we're all mature and wise enough to know it's just something to kill time.
