Everyone who I had stock in in last year's draft contributed on a decent level, except maybe Langford-- due some to injury and guard depth. Herro also blew my expectations out the water. I wanted to avoid him in the lotto at all cost and we ate on that pick

Kawhi had such an unusually massive progress while in the league it's hard to see similarities with a player like that but I'll be happy if my man Hachi has a career similar to Rudy Gay's and makes some Raptors fans cry lol

I think the biggest similarity they have is their defensive prowess. Kawhi was always a dog on that end. Rui trying to follow suit. Go read some of the defensive stopper threads on the Washington forum. They'll give you some vivid insight into Rui "Don't allow the Twoey" Hachimura.

Rui's never going to get there defensively, wish he was drafted by a defense-oriented team

He does what Kobe did, he uses helicopters to get to practices/games. I would guess this is also why he had some control over practice schedule since there could be delays because of weather or nobody he trusted was available to fly him at that time. On PG having that power... he did help LA out by basically forcing himself to the Clippers and he cost a lot to get that done. He kinda did the same thing Butler did for Miami.

Leonard talked with Bryant about commuting by helicopter after moving to Los Angeles to play for the Clippers last year, Leonard told reporters Wednesday. When he used the helicopter he'd ask for the pilot, Ara Zobayan, he said.

"I've flown with him a lot," Leonard said, according to video of the interaction shared by Los Angeles Times reporter Andrew Greif. "Great guy, super nice. He was one of the best pilots. That's the guy who you ask for to fly you from city to city."

"It's just surreal still for me," Leonard said. "You know, he'll drop me off and say he's about to pick up Kobe. ... Or he'll just be like, 'I just dropped Kobe off and he said hello,' you know, vice versa."

After I chose Wade and Admiral for my all time team, I'd probably go Bird next. He was an amazing player. Raised the game of his peers with his hardcore personality.

Even though Houie got annihilated against Lakers, this really is the truth about defense in 2020, and offenses that can't iso; if Jimmy didn't go super saiyan 4, no way we could've won those two games in the finals. Switch ability>Sz

Just visited their forum....man, they already trading his butt.

Seriously though, deferring to his agent takes the liability away from him, and keeps him neutral. It seems that he could legit leave them this offseason. Hawks are going to look pretty decent with Giannis as their stopper.

Would trade Giannis to GSW for Wiseman and GSW and Minny picks next year. That's a way to recover.

you know if giannis would cancel lebron out west that would be a good thing for the heat in the east since the heat can in theory beat the warriors just by locking up their shooters on D

Man GSW really cashed out on that KD sign and trade, I forgot they have Minny's pick this year.

I really wanted to do that Wiggins trade with Minny, if we didn't get Jimmy. We would've rolled out a nice young core aroun 2023

Would leave Boston and Nets to deal with in the East. Still not worried about Brooklyn but Boston is a tough out.

Yeah they did. Their injuries fell in line with a quick rebuild. Wiseman was my numero uno this year. That Wolves pick is top 4 protected but will probably convey at a good spot. Likely lottery.

I would also love to have one more young stud. With the guys we've added, having another potential rising star would be nice.

So, is it a done deal that Harden is going to Philly? Seems like a win win for both teams depending on how much Philly has to attach to Ben.

Don't see how a Wall-Simmons backcourt pairing would work.
