Id start Dedmon and have Bam at the 4 then Tucker or DRob, Jimmy and Lowry in the second half. dunno

I expected the Boston game to come against Denver. But you can't have that game and have it again a week later. You are only allowed one of those a season. The offense broke down again.
We've had gimmick offense in the past. I hope its not the same this season. Its early and its in altitude, but it if this happens again in another game you'd have to be worried. Looks like a good long athletic defense can shut us down.
It's not exactly like we get easy buckets. Butler is the only one who gets to the rims and gets FTs. Herro, Lowry and Duncan are mostly jump shooters. So when Duncan & Herro both struggle, the offense doesn't seem to work. It's early but its concerning that we have two games where the offense just broke

It's not so much win or lose, it's how you win or lose. Being up by 19 with 5:20 left to play against Utah, but only win by 3.

Losing to Denver by 15 at half time.

Those kinds of things say a lot about our chances to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Denver is playing exactly how, Indiana & Boston played us. In fact the same way Utah played us in that 4th quarter. Very aggressive, erratic and hustling down the court on the inbound. Miami needs a certain pace on defense that if you catch them on their heels their very mortal. and if you immediately force Miami to dump inside and close off the perimeter we don't have the savvy players to get buckets down low. Butler is the only one that can. so yeah the book is out on us....teams are watching!

This is the type of game where you need your 3 point shooters. Guys like Strus would have kept the D honest unlike Caleb. Robinson targeted by the referees killed the 3 point game for the Heat, not that Robinson is any guaranteed or anything, but one would never know with him.

The few last games the NBA officiating has been hurting the Heat as if Miami was not on this year’s plans.
